1 month review after taking one capsule a day. Pros: fast shipping, drastically reduces joint pain and inflammation at knees, relieves tendonitis of wrist, promotes hair growth, product quality Cons: size of capsule, slight aftertaste I am 30, work an office job, workout 4-5 times a week but I was starting to feel like my body was falling apart. I stumbled upon a recommendation for black seed oil in an online article. I immediately came to Amazon to research and I decided to try Kiva after reading the reviews. I only take one pill a day versus the recommended two per day, yet I still feel and see results. With two per day, I might become invincible! I have an old knee injury from playing high school soccer that continues to offer mild pain when I run, perform squats and/or lunges. Every other week, my right wrist will be in pain from clutching my phone or handling/clutching a mouse for my laptop 8-12 hours a day. This month, after taking black seed oil, I am able to run with no joint pain. I can perform 2-3 sets of lunges or squats before my knee starts to signal. However, the pain is much more subdued than before. My wrist feels great, no pain or inflammation at all. I noticed that the hair on my head is thicker. The hair at the crown of my head and on the sides was beginning to thin. Now I can feel and see a lot of new growth. There is also hair popping up in odd places, so keep in mind that it helps with ALL hair growth. I am taking a thermogenic supplement for weight loss, bloating, mental clarity, and appetite suppression so I am unable to confirm results from the black seed oil for those concerns. The Kiva capsules are rather large, which is probably why I stick with one per day. However, I imagine they're much better than swallowing a liquid version. There is a slight aftertaste with the capsule, but it is very minimal. I can usually wash away the aftertaste in my mouth with several sips of water. Note: staying hydrated is key to the oil being the most effective. There were several days that I didn't drink enough water and I could feel the difference. All in all, I highly recommend the Kiva brand and definitely recommend black seed oil. It is the only brand I've tried in the black seed oil capsules, but the results and product work very well. I am impressed that a natural solution works so well. Usually I'll try something, see no results and give up. It also helps that the capsules are effective almost immediately. Just keep in mind that you will have to keep taking them to see results.

So, I have been taking these for almost a week. It is still too early to know if they are helping me but I can post an update at a later day. The first couple days I took them, it gave me reflux with a weird taste. Now I take these with a meal and have not had an issue with reflux since. These capsules are pretty big in my opinion. One inch long! All the reviews I read, people would compare them with other meds but most people do not know what those pill sizes are. So, I am including a picture of the pill with a US metric ruler. I hope this helps others. Another review I read suggested poking a hole in the capsules and swallowing the oil that way but I don't like the taste of the black seed oil. To each their own. Whatever works for you.

Day 4 comes to an end and I felt compelled to start this review. I'll update at various stages and keep you all updated of my experiences with this amazing oil. First, the basics. Shipped and received promptly and as expected. Vacuum seal intact. Quality plastic bottle. Secure lid. The gelcaps themselves are large in size. 1000 mg of oil in EACH. (Please see photo included with review.) Recommended daily dosage is 2 of them; 2000 mg daily. Not like most others who have typical 500 mg of oil in each. High quality light colored oil with milder turpentine/diesel taste (if you've ever tasted oregano oil, you'll relate but this is milder and tolerable.) I'll certainly be ordering their 8 oz jar of the oil which has a tons of 5 star reviews next along with another of these jars in a couple of weeks as I find myself popping them and applying it all over my body liberally. After 4 days, I can assure you, it will clean you out with quick, pleasant bowel movements so those of you suffering with constipation? This works naturally and without the mess or discomfort. Being that the dosage is high, I would recommend starting off with consuming just one for a week or two and gauge how your body feels before increasing. And as always, please consult with your health care physician before taking on any self-healing endeavors. But also use some common sense and research too. I'm very happy overall with this quality product of #KIVA so far. I will also add the importance of getting your hydration updated to strictly distilled water. I cannot emphasize this enough. I took these as directed and after 5 days had terrible cramping and couldn't get out of bed for 48hrs. I couldn't eat or hold down water, just vomit acidic bile. That was my 2 days off from work and I paid for this experience. I found that 1 pill at night before bed is tolerable only if you sleep on your back flat. If I role onto either side the acid wakes me up. I have read of the benefits of this oil and considering the current crisis am willing to work these into my routine. I am trying another brand and update if they are any better than these.
