This was the only system I found on Amazon at the time that had all the features I was looking for in a security camera system. Excellent picture quality, night vision, motion detection, wire free installation, solar powered, and the ability to move the cameras remotely. There were some problems installing it. If you mount the camera hanging from the ceiling, instead of a wall, there is not enough mounting rail, I felt, to sufficiently hold the camera in a high wind and no way of locking it on the rail as you can if it is wall mounted. I made a a fix by gluing a piece of particle board to the body of the camera to support it and lock it on. I notified the company and they said they would suggest the improvement to the engineers in the next upgrade. The app that comes with the video recorder works fine with the mouse. The app on my phone works fine, except that it is not the most user friendly. Another thing they could improve on is the app for a PC laptop computer. It was a nightmare to get working. Because they are in China there is no phone support, but their willingness to help me through email support was excellent. They worked with me for over an hour one night helping me get the app on my laptop working. Their ability to communicate in English was also very good. They appear to be a fairly new company so they have some things to learn and improvements to make, but give them time I think they will earn that 5 Star review. ... show more

easy to setup. works well from phone app. had less than 6 months and one camera started going dead, would charge it and it would work for a few weeks and quit, now when i charge it , it started smoking so is no longer usable. i would think it would last longer than it has. **probably will replace with a different brand if i cant get it warrantied.** EDIT contacted Kittyhok with their support email and very quickly got a response asking for a shipping address to ship a new unit to, supplied that and got another email from them stating a replacement has been shipped. impressed with quick response and willingness to help. ... show more

Everything was good and worked great when I first set it up but after 2 weeks 1 solar panel decided to quit working, I took the camera inside and charged it up fine, so I knew then it was not the camera. So, I wrote to support and a person named Winnie took care of everything with no hassle at all after explain everything I did and is sending out a new solar panel with no hassle at all. The camera system is really pretty nice and works well, I will be ordering more cameras in the future as my system will go up to 8. Thanks again Winnie ... show more

    • Don't buy WIFI CAMERAS

All WiFi cameras are TERRIBLE. (I would say a real bad cuss word. Im being nice and telling my story so you can BEWARE.) If you know a KINGPIN from California that knows electronic devices to bypass or block your alerts. When they suppose to be on camera, no recording. They can log in and erase your local drive. So you have to pay for cloud storage, but the problem is that it's blocked before it gets there. That's the motion detection. So, I tried to be smart and turn on 24 hour continuous surveillance, and went and tried to order power cables for these cameras, compatibility issues with the adapters, then when a vehicle passed by with all that on, then all of a sudden the cameras were on pause for hours. Yeah that night vision, they can bypass that too. Red laser beam fogs up the screen till the sun comes up. Ain't fixen to see nothing. Only way to get around that is to have proper lighting, so that when the cameras go off at night, it automatically switches to color. Or don't turn on night vision and use the camera's lights. Sick and tired of these cameras. Only buy WIRED! I'm techy, I knew better! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Installed these 4 cameras. Really simple to setup. Just a screwdriver and a ladder. No need to run electrical connections. Connected to an screen and easy to track. Cameras do not come with micro sd or “T” cards as the company refers to them. Cloud back up is pay per month per camera. System is not bad to set up installation is straight forward but pairing cameras to the network is not so easy as they tell you to use the QR code on the camera which is not on any camera. The next option is use the id number but the id number (actually called ID number is for the FCC and not related to the number to add a camera. There is a way but it is more involved than is should be. Feed back from the company is zero. After much added frustration I was able to get them working video quality is good ... show more
