Note: Make sure the solar panel is in a location that will get as much light as possible, especially during winter months. Everything worked great for the first 10 months, then 2 of the cameras stopped working. I contacted support via email and received immediate assistance. We did a little trouble shooting and determined the cameras needed to be replaced. They immediately sent 2 new replacements, which I received within two days. I charged the cameras overnight and easily added them to the system the next day. This was some of the best customer service I have received from any company. This is a great system, very easy to setup and for those who can't or don't want to hardwire in cameras this is a perfect solution. It took less then an hour to setup all cameras and get them funtioning. Also the app is very easy to use and I get to view the cams from anywhere I am traveling. Def worth the cost! Customer service is also very good. Had an issue with a malfucntioning camera, and litterally within 24 hours they were sending me out a new one, no hassell. Worked great at first. Then after 5 months, they started dying. Removed the solar panels and purchased power cables. Worked better then they'd every worked previously. Picture quality and reliability was perfect. This worked for two weeks. Now two cameras aren't working at all. Potentially related to the temperature outside. We've been in the 30s every time that I've had the most problems. Customer service has been pretty responsive, but their solution is for me to send the cameras back, so that they can confirm the non working status (at my expense). Once they determine that they have in fact, stopped working, they will then send replacements. Knowing that this can take weeks, I've òpted to purchase something different. My company is not in the best part of town and I've already had something stolen since the cameras haven't been working. I just can't wait weeks without them. I've climbed up and down the sides of my building, installing and reinstalling these so many times to troubleshoot. Bottom line is that they are not reliable and will not give you the piece of mind that you seen when buying something like this. I'll send mine in for replacement and sell the ones they serve me back to help offset the cost of replacement, but I will not put these back up ... show more

Everything was good and worked great when I first set it up but after 2 weeks 1 solar panel decided to quit working, I took the camera inside and charged it up fine, so I knew then it was not the camera. So, I wrote to support and a person named Winnie took care of everything with no hassle at all after explain everything I did and is sending out a new solar panel with no hassle at all. The camera system is really pretty nice and works well, I will be ordering more cameras in the future as my system will go up to 8. Thanks again Winnie ... show more

This was the only system I found on Amazon at the time that had all the features I was looking for in a security camera system. Excellent picture quality, night vision, motion detection, wire free installation, solar powered, and the ability to move the cameras remotely. There were some problems installing it. If you mount the camera hanging from the ceiling, instead of a wall, there is not enough mounting rail, I felt, to sufficiently hold the camera in a high wind and no way of locking it on the rail as you can if it is wall mounted. I made a a fix by gluing a piece of particle board to the body of the camera to support it and lock it on. I notified the company and they said they would suggest the improvement to the engineers in the next upgrade. The app that comes with the video recorder works fine with the mouse. The app on my phone works fine, except that it is not the most user friendly. Another thing they could improve on is the app for a PC laptop computer. It was a nightmare to get working. Because they are in China there is no phone support, but their willingness to help me through email support was excellent. They worked with me for over an hour one night helping me get the app on my laptop working. Their ability to communicate in English was also very good. They appear to be a fairly new company so they have some things to learn and improvements to make, but give them time I think they will earn that 5 Star review. ... show more

Cameras do not come with micro sd or “T” cards as the company refers to them. Cloud back up is pay per month per camera. System is not bad to set up installation is straight forward but pairing cameras to the network is not so easy as they tell you to use the QR code on the camera which is not on any camera. The next option is use the id number but the id number (actually called ID number is for the FCC and not related to the number to add a camera. There is a way but it is more involved than is should be. Feed back from the company is zero. After much added frustration I was able to get them working video quality is good ... show more

UPDATE: I was mistaken saying there was no zoom. There absolutely is a zoom function. It requires you to select the camera by long pressing on it. I apparently had not held the long press long enough. For the price, this is a really great system. Video is sharp. Ability to pan and tilt far surpasses my old stationary Arlo cameras. I reviewed the listing description for two things. First, I cannot find where it mentions needing a monitor with a USB port in order to view and configure the system. This is important not only for configuration, you also need to find the QR code that allows you to register the device on the app. Also, there was a storage card in the NVR base station.
