    • Both work fantastic
Food grinder: Used this to grind turkey, and it was actually fun to perform the grinding, incredibly simple to set up. Cleaning the attachments took a little while though since you don't want raw meat hiding in the crevices, but it cleaned up nicely. Food Processor: THIS IS AMAZING!!!! Easy to use and clean, enough said. ... show more

    • KitcheAid, what can I say, simply the best
I purchased my unit several months ago and I have to say that I could not be more please with a kitchen purchase that is so useful. I am a retired man and want to learn how to bake bread and other things for my family. I have made so many things now that I never thought that I would be able to, I might add that my family is very pleased with what I have been serving them and they are very happy that I have taken up baking as a useful hobby. If you want to be able to cook like a pro, you have to have the right tools for the job and a KitchenAid mixer is a great addition to any kitchen. ... show more

    • Great Kit Great Value
REally good for the value considering the price of most Kitchenaid attachments. I was already familiar with the meat grinder attachment, so I know this works really good at grinding meat. The sausage stuffer works, but if you are doing a whole lot of sausage, I would suggest a manual stuffer because it will be much faster. The vegetable slicer is ok, but not the best for softer vegetables. I ran a bunch of tomatoes through the course die on the meat grinder, and had instant tomato sauce! Worked perfectly. I also shredded 26 cups of zucchini to freeze, and it worked flawlessly for that. Overall, I am impressed, and can't wait to make some small scale specialty sausages soon! ... show more

    • Great tool! Has some quirks, though.
Overall I am happy that I purchased the set. I actually have not use the meat grinder yet and I’ve read varied Reviews on it. The shredder, though, I have used quite a bit already on cheese, carrots, jicama, and cucumbers. I don’t really understand why they show sliced cucumbers on the box and advertisements for this because when I sliced cucumbers they came out so thin that nobody in my house was interested in eating them but perhaps it was a technique issue. My biggest annoyance with the shredder is that even when I put it on and tighten the screw to hold it in there it often loosens and I will be in the middle of shredding something and I could see that it’s wobbling and about to fall off. I am new to KitchenAid Stand mixers, so maybe it’s something I am doing but I also have the spiralizer and have no trouble with it ever. Also it bears mentioning that you do have to cut pieces of vegetables or whatever you’re shredding in order to fit them through the tube in order to strengthen. It’s still saves me a lot of work and time, but I have seen some complaints about it and wanted to mention it. ... show more

    • Amazing
I love everything about how easy this makes prep in the kitchen. Plus it's so nice having one appliance to replace the clutter. You can get rid of so many things that take up large amounts of space. The attachments, like this one, take up very little space.

    • It worked fine with the same attachments as this
I had an electric cheese grater that I have used for 6+ years. It worked fine with the same attachments as this. My wife wants to down size the number of appliances we have floating around so I ordered this so we can get rid of my old grater. At first, I was apprehensive about attachments for my KitchenAid and WOW was I wrong. These attachments is well made (like the Ferrari of kitchen stuff) and sturdy. The grater has one large feed and a second that fits in the middle for smaller food and more control. Due to this purchase I am looking into more attachments. ... show more

    • Life changing
How have I lived without this?! The cheese grater has been life changing. I have always hated grating cheese but now I spend a few minutes every Sunday grating cheese I'll need for the week, and the whole process takes me at most 5mins. I have yet to use the grinder attachment but if it is anything like the cheese grater then I'm sure it will be just as life altering. The product its self is well made and definitely looks and feels like it will be around for many years. I highly recommend this product. ... show more

    • Awesome!
We bought this attachment set for the meat grinder. We have made ground chicken many times and thesetup and clean up are super easy. We will be experimenting with making our own sausage when we can find the time. Would recommend to anyone with a KitchenAid.
