  • Needed a new one
Color: Matte Black Style: 13 Cup w/ Exact Slice Lever Pattern Name: Processor
Owned a kitchenaid in the past and really liked it, however i can no longer get bowl replacements for it.. What attracted me to this one was all the pieces store inside the bowl when not being used. Assembling, yes assembling the blade mechanism was not intuitive, i had to pull out the user instructions to use the machine. There are 3 parts to use the blade. the stalk you would use for the shredder blades, a cover for the stalk and then the blade. I used it to grind nuts for a cookie dough and then to make the dough, per the recipe. Ground the nuts fine. Got bogged down making the dough, there was a layer of really fine material around the blade and the rest of the ingredients hanging out above. I had to use the stand mixer to finish the dough. :/ Gettting all the stuff nested back into the stand that sits inside the bowl was a bit fiddley but not bad. I have only used it once. Really didnt like the blade assembly. That being said, i recently used my Brothers Cuisinart processor, much more intuitive to use, however the gap between the shredder blade and the bowl was huge, so large chunks of veg fell in with the finely shredded stuff. Based on first use I would not buy this again, however getting comfortable with the machine may change my mind. ... show more

  • Close, but…
Color: Empire Red Style: 9 Cup W/ Whisk Pattern Name: Processor
Kit content’s received were rather different than what is advertised. I did not get the four blade chopper, instead it was two blades. Also no whisk or refrigerator lid, instead I got two additional slicing blades (one of which is reversible to another shredder size). I’m ok with it, and will likely use the added blades more than some extra lid or whisk, but feel a little shorted by the lesser chopper. Maybe it’s an older set, which is why the price was right at 25% off. ... show more

I just got this and used it to make oreo balls, thinking it would have significant power. This is HORRIBLE!! It walked across the counter and had no power to it to mix in the cream cheese. I checked the wattage here and it is only 300 watts? compared to at least 1000 in others? It is likely going back, so upset as I wanted a Kitchen aid as I have the mixer. I reviewed this after first use. I have now used it more and like the speed. It practically sent the vegetables flying out when I put them in to cut. Didn't even need the pusher. I am keeping it.. has more power than I thought. ... show more

  • Disappointed with KitchenAid
Color: Contour Silver Style: 9 Cup W/ Whisk Pattern Name: Processor
I purchased this food processor before Christmas 2022. I had a Cuisinart for 15 years that I loved. The lid broke and it would’ve cost me almost half the price of a new one. I decided it was time to buy a new food processor. I have several KitchenAid products that I have had for 15 to 18 years. I love my stand up blender and I would never trade it in. I love my immersion blender and use it all the time. Both have stood up over the years. The obvious choice for me was to buy a KitchenAid food processor because the brand has always been reliable. When looking at the pictures on Amazon, I was not incredibly impressed with the design. I decided to go with the brand that has always been good to me, the KitchenAid. When I took the product out of the box, I was still not impressed with the design. The first time I used it, I was happy bc it has the power I need. Fast forward…. Now that I’ve used it a few times, I’m incredibly disappointed with the construction. The plastic is cheap , the handle on the bowl is incredibly flimsy, the bowl itself is a thin cheap plastic, and the lock looks like something you would see on a child’s toy. I love the power that this food processor has. It does the job that I need it to do but I’m waiting for it to fall apart in my hands. I’m at a tipping point - I’m considering packing it up and sending it back. The lesson that I’ve learned from buying this product is that nothing is made to last anymore. In the future when purchasing an appliance I will go to the store, look at several brands, touch them, take them apart and evaluate the construction before I purchase anything online. Would I recommend this product? I don’t think so. I’m incredibly disappointed in the construction. ... show more

  • Works Great
Color: Onyx Black Style: 7 Cup Food Processor Pattern Name: Processor
Just parted with my 33-year-old food processor and bought this one. The old one still worked, so I thought I was silly to buy new, but that's because I had no idea what I was missing. I've only ever used a food processor to make hummus (probably missing out there, too!), and with this one, it takes only a few seconds to blend. It's very nice looking, quiet, and powerful. It's kind of a pain to clean, with lots of pieces, but probably any food processor would be similar. Very happy, highly recommend. ... show more

Have one already. Bought another for my mother. Love this food processor. Love the different blades and options. Not as loud as others ive used. Super easy to clean, as the whole thing comes apart. Definately would buy again.

I bought this processor as a gift for my wife. She has used it a few times and seems to be pleased with its performance and ease of operation and cleaning. A good product for the money.

I punished it by grinding up dates. It performed perfectly. Couldn't be more pleased. User-friendly design with few parts. LOVE Kitchenaid!
