This thing is heavy and of a good quality. It is made of stainless steel and heavy enough to stand still while it is working hard on my dough. At times, it will skip a beat or two when the dough is tough, but it gets the job done anyway. I use it mostly to make dough then use an attachment to turn it into noodles. I have to say it saves me a lot of time and so far it has been working great.
