I have gone through several mixers over a life time and this one is my favorite. The bowl locks in place and various beaters work well. I recommend getting a bowl cover with pour spot because I have to stop the mixer to pour in dry ingredients. The option for attachments is great! You can add a pasta maker, veggie slicer, shredder, and a lot more. Remember to remove the beater when using attachments because the mixer keeps moving! You also might like the beater with the rubber spatula because the all metal one does not scrape the sides...which is good! You don’t want metal shards in your food! The complaining reviews about the beaters not reaching the sides is not accurate. Metal on Metal = Bad! Overall, I think this mixer will outlive me! ... show more

Had no clue what I was missing until I used it the first time. I over mixed my cookie dough the first batch because I was able to walk away. 🤣

After 25 years, we needed to replace our original one. The new one is heavier than the old one. The wife is happy with this because it can use the attachments.
