This thing is industrial strength, like most Kitchen Aid stuff. Your ice cream can be frozen into a solid block and this scoop is not going to break or bend. And with the way it’s shaped, the ice cream comes right off of it. Such a joy after having cheap ones.

The previous name brand ice cream scoop I had, the soft rubber handle deteriorated. This smooth solid handle I hope holds up well. The color is more like a light mint than pistachio, but it still fits the kitchen decor
