’ve been using the KitchenAid 5-Speed Ultra Power Hand Mixer for a while now, and it’s become one of my favorite kitchen gadgets. It’s lightweight, easy to handle, and has plenty of power for everyday tasks like mixing batters, whipping cream, and mashing potatoes. The five speeds are well-spaced — low is gentle enough to start without splattering, and high can handle thicker doughs surprisingly well. The beaters are sturdy and clean up easily, and I love that the cord can lock into either side depending on where you’re standing. My only minor gripe is that it struggles a bit with very heavy doughs — if you bake bread often, a stand mixer might be better. But for everyday mixing and baking, this is a reliable and well-designed tool. Bottom line: A great mid-range hand mixer that lives up to the KitchenAid name — powerful, simple, and durable. ... show more

I love this mixer. It is quiet, much quieter than other mixers that we've had. The low speed is acually low, whereas the low speed setting on our other mixers has been a medium speed. I recommend this mixer.

Overall a nice mixer - fairly quiet and light weight but the highest speed is not as powerful as I am used to with the cuisinart hand mixer I previously had for the past 12 years (bought at walmart and was glitchy from the start). I can tell this is a solid mixer that is not going to be glitchy BUT it only comes with beaters. no other accessories - not even a whisk attachment for whipping cream, which aside from cookie dough, is really the next top use of a hand mixer for most people. disappointing they don’t include it with the 5 speed. ... show more
