I am comparing this knife to my trusty-old Zwilling, which is a knife that costs 7 to 12 times more that the Kuisine. Can you argue that in some esoteric, imperceptible way the Zwilling is better? Maybe, but I can tell you that you can buy SEVEN to TWELVE of these knives and store them so you can pull out a new one when you get tired of the one you are using, while you could only buy one Zwilling with that same money... And now to the actual review: The Kuisine knife is very close in weight and handling to the Zwilling, but I prefer the riveted-then-machined handle on the Kuisine over the glued-on handle on the Zwilling. Then, the bolster and the heel are clearly better on the Kuisine, as you can see on the photos. The thickness and length of the blade is pretty much the same on both. The tang is a little shorter on the Kuisine, but not so much that it affects the grip. I could go on and on... TLDR: This is a very good knife at a crazy good price. ... show more
