I genuinely love this case. This is the first crazy horse case I ever owner. It is lightweight and feels great in the hand. The leather makes this case really stick out. The case fits snug round the phone. If you ever owned a apple brand phone case (silicone or leather), then you will be familiar with the build quality of this case. It is pretty much the exact same. I was looking for a thin light weight leather case and this was everything I was looking for. The case weighs 37.91 grams which is similar to the Apple Branded leather case coming in around 34 grams. DOES THE LIP OF THE CASE AROUND THE SCREEN GO PAST THE SCREEN WITH A SCREEN PROCTECTOR? -I do have a screen protector on the phone and the lip that goes over the screen does go over the screen protector preventing it from touching the table if your phone is face down. IS IT REAL CRAZY HORSE LEATHER? -Yes, it is real crazy horse leather. ARE THE BUTTONS REACTIVE WHEN TOUCHED? -Yes, the buttons work great. WILL IT PROTECT MY PHONE? -depends. Since it has a similar build quality as the Apple Branded cases, which I had for 3 years, protected my iPhone 13 Pro max from damage a scratches that were caused by phone drops possibly 3 to 4 feet. I never dropped my phone from higher heights since my phone is usually in my pocker or hand. But we all make mistakes and may occasionally put it in our laps and drop it when we step out of the car. As for those who prefere strong shock absorption, this is not the case for you. You will have to sacrifice weight, thinness and sleekness for a thicker, heavier and stronger case. I chose the latter.

I’ve used for about 9 months. It protects the phone just fine- which is its core function. Feels nice and grippy. Odd function when watching YouTube it likes to fast forward videos without intending- think it is interfering with buttons? Scratches very easily and color wears off edges easily. Is not the patina look I was hoping for. Slim design.
