I’ve been using this espresso machine for about two months now, and I honestly don’t think I could ever go back to drip coffee! This was my first experience with an espresso machine, so I did a lot of research and watched several videos on how to perfect espresso. However, this machine was surprisingly straightforward to use! First, I have to say, I love the look of this machine. The stainless steel gives it a high-end feel compared to the all-plastic models. It heats up quickly and is ready to use in no time. The grinder works well, and I really appreciate the variety of grind settings to help achieve that perfect pull. It also comes with all the necessary tools, including a tamper. The tamper is pretty heavy and feels durable, though I wasn’t always great at applying the recommended pressure for tamping. So, I ended up buying a calibrated spring-loaded tamper, a distributor, and a puck screen. While they’re not necessary, they definitely make a difference when it comes to getting great shots. The machine also includes a hot water function and a steaming/frothing wand. I’m still getting the hang of steaming milk, and I do wish the wand extended and tilted more for better maneuverability. Additionally, the steam takes a bit of time to kick in. I’ve learned it’s best to start the steam before putting the wand into your cup of milk to get rid of any residual water, but even then, the steam sometimes takes long to re-start, and still sometimes expels extra water. It’s a minor issue, but it’s worth noting. Overall, this is a fantastic machine for the price. Despite a few small quirks with the steam wand, I look forward to my morning coffee every day and couldn’t be happier with my purchase!

Let me start by saying I really love how everything is "all-in-one" with this espresso maker. It has a built-in coffee bean grinder that you can adjust the fineness of. It has a steamer and hot water dispenser, perfect for a variety of situations. the tank holds a good amount of water for multiple shots of espresso whenever you need it. The included accessories for cleaning, tamping, and setting your desired espresso type is awesome. Cleaning the device has been easy and upkeep so far has been minimal. It consistently delivers a steady flow of espresso each time I use it, and discarding the coffee grounds is super easy. Cleanup takes less than a minute total. I normally add in my own creamer or sugar, but decided to try out the steamer. The milk steamer is pretty strong to the point that it boils the milk almost violently and it bubbles everywhere. Maybe I haven't gotten this down yet, but it seems that any amount of milk makes it bubble over and makes a mess. Not to mention, the steamer is super loud at first compared to other steamers I've seen in the past. Despite this, it heats up milk just fine. Overall, for quick, basic caffeine shots - this is the overall best thing ever. It's super simple to use with no complicated button turning or fine tuning (although if you're super picky, there WILL be some fine tuning). It dispenses each shot relatively quickly and you're ready to go.

I was really excited to get to try out this machine. I previously had an automatic espresso machine and, while it worked fine, there were things I didn't like about it. When I got this machine I was a bit intimidated, but jumped right in. I like the small footprint of the machine itself so it doesn't take up a ton of counter space. But the big advantage here is that it tastes amazing. The quality of espresso that comes out of the machine is similar to what you would get at a boutique coffee shop. The machine has a bean hopper with a built in grinder, heats water to the precise temperature, and does both of these quickly and effortlessly. Although it is easy to use once you get the routine down, it does take some tuning to get it to where you want. The frother is great for the aforementioned lattes - it doesn’t require a technique; rest the nozzle in the groove of the frothing cup pouring channel and rotate the frothing cup slightly clockwise with your wrist so that the end of the nozzle swirls the milk around. As far as cleaning, I like this machine so much better than the other one. This one is much easier to clean and the parts come out easily.

I’ll tell you right up front, I’m not an Espresso fan but my daughter is. She’s the one who asked me to order this Espresso machine by Kismile. She absolutely LOVES having this machine! She was a bit concerned that it was going to be difficult to learn how to use, but she was VERY pleasantly surprised at how super simple it is to use. She grinds her own coffee beans in the machine and has told me the process is so simple that she fixes herself a double shot every morning before she heads off to work. According to her, if you’re wanting an Espresso machine that allows you to grind your own coffee beans and make a wonderful shot of Espresso… this is the machine you need to take another look at! If she had three hands, this machine would get three thumbs up! Since she doesn’t, this machine will get 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!

I guess I just thought espresso was really strong coffee. I was in over my head for sure when I got this. Although the manual seems easy to understand for most, I found just looking at videos for other Kismile units taught me what I needed to know to get started. I am a complete beginner and also I hate the taste of coffee. With that being said, I was very impressed by the machine and the taste. The grinder is better than both my manual one and a standalone electric I have. The espresso itself is very good - and I have used this about one to two times a week. I do think it is something I will use daily once I get a good deal on beans. I'd recommend!
