I’ve been using the Coffee Maker for a few days now, and it has honestly exceeded my expectations—especially for a pour-over style machine at this price point! Heats up quickly: Starts brewing almost right away and finishes a full pot in about 6 minutes. Feels well made: The metal body feels sturdy and higher quality than most plastic coffee makers. Nice brewing control: You can adjust the water flow to change the strength, and the cold brew setting actually works well. At first sight, you would think this was a Technivorm Moccamaster. The design is clearly a knock off, but it is far superior in most every way. I was hesitant as I never heard of Kismile (An American company, pronounced Kiz-Mile, mfr in China) but now I am excitedly perusing their catalog for other products, that is how impressed I am by this coffee maker. It is not perfect, but it isn't far off. I will say that the only reason I bought this is I needed a more compact machine for a butlers pantry we built. My 9 year old Cuisinart -- still the best coffee maker I have ever owned and still own -- was too big for the shallower depth counters. I put that away and will use it in the kitchen if I need to make larger pots, but for everyday use I needed another solution. I bought the Moccamaster on sale in a Black Friday deal, but returned in after a couple days. I did a video and review on that if you look, as it came up short everywhere. With some help from Google Gemini I set out to find a quality machine that would work well in my space, and it helped me land here. This one is a keeper. It does a lot of things well, but there is a learning curve and some trial and error involved. Once you figure out your settings though, it is a no brainer. The things I love about it most are the removable water tank and the micro-level control over the pot drip. Filling this is easy as the tank just snaps on and off, so no need for a fill pitcher. The convenience factor is high. Next you have the grounds cylinder, which takes #4 cone style filters. There is an adjustable level that control drip flow. This is what makes the machine truly stand out, as you can simulate pour over better than any other drip machine has ever tried. At first I mistakenly thought the adjustment slowed the drip into the grounds themselves, but that was wrong. The water heats in 3 seconds and the tank empties at the same rate no matter what. The lever controls the drip rate into the carafe, meaning you can allow it to sit in the grounds longer or shorter. With my Cuisinart, select Bold or 1 to 4 Cup settings, the water just releases at a slower rate onto the grounds, thus staying on the longer and creating a bolder flavor. Here, it is the opposite, so you need to be aware, as if you slow or stop it too long, depending on the amount of water in the tank, you can overflow the filter. Basically, if you are making a full pot, you can leave it open fully or close to it, but if you are making just a cup or two, you need to tweak the flow rate down. This is the simulated pour over I referenced and it works well. Other positives are the build quality, brew temperature, and carafe. Ground coverage is excellent from the water arm. Everything fits well and is solid, and it is a great option for tight spaces. It is also aesthetically pleasing. There are some negatives though, which is why I deducted a star. 1) The first issue is the cord placement. Why does it protrude from the left side and not the back? This makes no sense and is a massive design fail. 2) The second issue is the machine only stays on for 40 minutes after the brew cycle. While 2 hours may be a bit long, 40 minutes is WAY too short. 3) The third issue is that when the machine starts brewing, the first few seconds it shoots cold water into the grounds. It heats fast and this is likely of little consequence, but it should wait a few seconds before starting. None of these are deal breakers and I would imagine all could be fixed very easily in the next iteration of the machine. It is just basic coding and design. All in all, I do highly recommend this machine, especially if you are considering the Moccamaster, and also if you frequently brew coffee in smaller batches. I paid $179 for mine and was not asked to review it, nor was I compensated in any way.

I’ve been using this coffee maker for a little while now, and I really enjoy it. The water heats up super fast, and the coffee tastes clean and smooth. What I like most is that I can control how strong the coffee is. The flow control feels almost like doing a hand‑pour, but much easier. I can slow it down for a stronger cup or open it up for a lighter one. The cold brew mode is also better than I expected. It takes around 20 minutes and the flavor is soft and not bitter. I can also brew tea with this machine as well. The water tank comes off easily, and cleaning the parts is simple. The machine looks nice on my counter too.

I am going to start out with the cliche' " I don't really write reviews often but..." we bought this coffee maker because we are trying to get away from microplastics. I asked "Rufus AI" about this exact thing, it responded that this machine was known for having much lower microplastics than many other alternatives. However, when it showed up we immediately noticed the plastic parts everywhere! (Most of the parts were stated as being aluminum online). Not what we wanted at all. Also, it leaks, it has a flimsy connection from coffee cone to machine, the hot water dispenser just straight up fell off into the coffee grounds and all in all the fit and finish of this machine is very misleading. Looks like a space aged machine from the future but after only a half dozen uses or so, we were reduced to the $25.00 Mr. Coffee version because we were just over the BS with this thing and needed out morning coffee! Does it work? yes. Would we recommend to anyone. Absolutely Not!

This coffee maker is an absolute winner, and the carafe is the standout star. The glass is incredibly thick and sturdy—it feels premium and durable in hand, completely eliminating any worry about fragility. Most importantly, the insulation is fantastic. It keeps coffee piping hot for hours, so the last cup is as enjoyably warm as the first. No more lukewarm coffee!
