I was immediately struck by the size of this Desitin diaper rash cream tube. It is truly large and wide; to give you an idea, it is almost as tall as a large tube of Colgate toothpaste. That inspires a lot of confidence, as you can tell it contains a generous amount of product that will last a long time, even with frequent use. I also really liked the texture. It is a white paste, but upon application, it feels light, smooth, and easy to spread. It doesn't feel heavy or sticky. At first, a thin white layer is visible, but it blends in well, leaving the skin looking natural. What really won me over was the sense of relief and protection it provided. I first tested it on myself on a small area of irritated skin, and it worked wonders: I felt no burning or discomfort—quite the opposite, as it seemed to soothe the area and protect it immediately. I originally purchased this cream after seeing many people recommend it in social media for helping improve the dark skin under the arms, even though it’s traditionally marketed as a diaper rash cream. I decided to give it a try as part of my nighttime underarm routine, and I’m honestly glad I did. I’ve been using it together with two other products, and I’ve definitely noticed that my underarms have become lighter over time. While I can’t say this cream alone is responsible for all the results, I do believe it has been an important part of the process. It leaves a thick protective layer on the skin, so I apply it before bed and wash it off the next morning. The consistency is extremely thick and doesn’t really dry down or absorb completely, which is expected for this type of cream. It also takes a little extra effort to wash off because it stays on the skin very well throughout the night. The only reason I’m giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is the scent. In my opinion, the smell is quite unpleasant and could definitely be improved. Since it lingers on the skin, I personally prefer using it only at night before going to sleep. If the fragrance were more pleasant, or even fragrance free, think this product would be nearly perfect. Overall, If you’re patient and consistent, and especially if you’re using it as part of a complete routine, it’s definitely worth trying. ... show more
