Within 24 hours of using a thick spread, there was significant improvement and it was gone within the following 2 days. Unfortunately I wear diapers every day and night. At times I just drip and other times my whole bladder will empty. I take medication for it but if it works, I'd say it's sporadic. I've recently lost 80 lbs so lots of loose skin on my butt and sores develope easily. Desitin works great at protecting the skin to keep it free of sores and if I do get one it clears them quickly. I'd tried very expensive creams and powders and pretty much anythiing I could find. I had a couple nasty sores that diidn't want to heal and I decided to try Desitin. I had been using steroid cream to help with skin gaulding. It did work, but didn't last very long. I used some Desitin, and the pain and redness disappeared overnight and has not come back. I highly recommend it for diaper rash or any rash on a person of any age.
