I would recommend using Desitin Maximum Strength Paste if your baby develops a wicked diaper rash. I was using Aquaphor 3-in-1 Diaper Rash cream for my newborn's bum. However, during his one-month pediatrician visit, his doctor recommended switching to Desitin Maximum Strength Paste & A+D ointment. Holds up well against longer wearing diapers, naturally as a result it can be a pain to clean and it absolutely does NOT come out of clothes and receivers if it gets unto them so looks like paint on them sadly. BUT it serves it's purpose well so i guess it's a price to pay
