An excellent stand mixer
This review is for the Kismile brand ‘Stand Mixer, 5.5 Quart Electric Mixer With 12 Speeds, Tilt-Head Design and Stainless Steel Bowl’, in red. If you do any baking, a stand mixer is a must. This one is quite nice, especially at this price. It’s the perfect size for what I would consider to be ‘standard family’ baking, like a regular batch of cookies or brownies or a standard sized cake from a box of cake mix. The motor is plenty strong, and the different speed options are very useful when working with different thicknesses of dough and batter. The additional attachments are useful, but the little black plastic spatula is a joke...it’s just about useless. Do yourself a favor and get some higher quality spatulas in different sizes and styles from your local big box store; you’ll save yourself a lot of effort and frustration. The attachments are easy to swap out, and the splash guard is extremely useful if you’re working with lots of flour or thin types of batter. The entire mixer has a comfortable weight and sense of solidity about it; it feels higher quality than what you would typically get in a store at a similar price. Overall, I’m very impressed with this mixer! It’s exactly what I needed, and the price isn't bad at all considering the quality level. Five stars.
