When I got back from Italy I started making my own pizza. I use a microwave/convection oven for convenience, but it only goes up to 450. This one goes up to 572. Nice and hot and the pizza cooks in 6 minutes! My big oven is mostly for storing pots and pans, so this tabletop model is the perfect solution. Easy to move around, and the perfect size for a 10” pizza stone. The clunkiness has to do with the fact that the rack is connected to the door/handle, so you have to pull the rack out almost all the way to slide the pizza onto the stone from the side. Would be better if the door/handle flipped down and the rack stayed in the oven so you could slide the pizza in from the front. The other thing is that it indicated it could fit a 12” pizza stone, but it really can’t since the rack slide holders stick just a wee bit too far in. Finally, the temperature dial isn’t very exact, but that doesn’t seem to be a problem. This oven was affordable, so, balancing the few faults against the benefits, it works fine for me.

I’ve used it several times already. I like my pizza crispier, so being able to crank the heat up to higher temps is really nice. It’s nice to not have to heat the whole oven up, especially during the summer. The design itself Is quite simple, so there’s not a lot on the device itself that can break which means it should last for a long time. I’m going to definitely try to test it with a pizza stone soon.
