    • Not Durable, broke after 6 months, cannot get response from manufacturer KISLOT

While this is a nice chair it turned out to not be durable (broke after 6 months) and it is impossible to contact the manufacturer (KISLOT) regarding the warranty. The electronics on the chair failed while it was in the recline position and it cannot be returned to the upright position so it is unusable. I tried several times to contact the manufacturer, I emailed and I used the Amazon link to call their customer service line but on several attempts the phone literally rang for over 5 minutes then disconnected me. I did purchase the 3 year Protection plan thru Asurion and I called them to file a claim and they told me the manufacturer's warranty covers the first year and then the Asurion insurance is for the 2nd and 3rd year. So for future reference to anyone purchasing an Asurion protection plan, dont' count on it being of any use during the manufacturers warranty period, you are actually only getting 2 years even though they call it a 3 year plan. The Asurion representative told me I have to deal with the manufacturer for the first year. The only way Asurion would cover it in the first year is if I have the manufacturer send a denial letter to them and then they would investigate my claim. This is impossible because the manufacturer (KISLOT) will not respond to me. I spoke to Amazon and they said there was nothing they could do, it is the manufacturers responsibility. So, the only option I have left is to throw the recliner in my garage and let it take up space for the next 6 months until I am past the 1 year mark and then file with Asurion and see if they will honor the "protection plan". Needless to say I am very disappointed in all 3 companies involved (AMAZON, KISLOT and ASURION) ... show more

For the price it’s a fair value, don’t expect this thing to last longer than a few years. The most annoying thing was the sound it makes when closing. Here the fix, lean it back and generously spray all the hinge points with silicone spray. Close and open the chair about 20 times, and the squeaking joints will stop (hopefully) Should you buy it, If you want a cheap chair and don’t care that it assembles like lego’s, might make a few noises, and likely won’t last for more than a few years. ... show more

I knew my husband required a Zero Gravity Chair, post surgery and this has been a great choice. It is comfortable and after some practice, he's gotten the control buttons down. The faux leather is a nice color, and just supple enough. The USB port not working after a week, but that was not important to us. We've had the chair for approx. 6 months now, he spends all waking hours in it, adjusting it MULTIPLE times per day. It functions perfectly, the footrest is long enough for him. Having to do all over again and seeing how often the motors are being used, I would have purchased the Extended Warranty. ... show more
