Kirby has never steered me wrong. I shampooed my carpets and it was easy and efficient. They look just like they did when we moved in 3 years ago. I should also mention we're a family of 3. We have 2 inside dogs and a cat. Needless to say, there's a lot of high traffic areas in our house. It left my carpets smelling so great! Plus it has a scotch guard (kirby guard) that lasts up to 6 months. It removed all of the pet accidents especially some horrible diarrhea fiasco that our large dog had the other day. Carpets usually really gross me out. I don't let babies on the carpet but now I'm confident that my baby will be able to play on the carpet and not have top worry about the filth. But the best thing, besides clean, fresh carpet...is the fact that I did my whole house and it was completely dry within 45 mins and its completely fine to walk on it right after its been shampooed. Love the fact that it only uses 10% of water on the carpet. Its almost like a dry shampoo only better because it works with not saturating the carpet (which will void the warranty on your carpet. This shampooer will NOT void the warranty on your carpet because it doesn't saturate the back side of the carpet. Therefore, the padding stays dry so there's no risk of mildew. This product is the best at removing stains and cleaning the carpet. I ran out of shampooer with a different product, I bought this and was blown away with how clean it got my carpets. I redid the part that I already done with the other shampooer and had no idea how stained my carpet actually was until I used this product. For me, the only issue I have is the scent and I don't smell this as being lavender at all. When I smell this right out of the bottle it smells like cleaner for a public bathroom and was very hesitant in using it. I will say when you measure the cleaner out and mix it with water the smell is way better. I still don't get the lavender scent, but the smell was not as bad as I thought and it doesn't linger more than over night. I 100% would recommend this product! ... show more
