I purchased 2 sets of these light fixtures to go over my master bathroom sinks. After the first installation we realized that with the lights facing upward, everything below the lights was too dark. I had used 3 each 40W lights and this was part of the problem. After reading some of the reviews where consumers flipped the fixture so that the lights faced downward, we did the same with satisfactory results. I replaced the 40W bulbs with the recommended T10 LED 60W and now there's plenty of light. However, the T10 LED bulbs with a lifetime of 10 years are $9.00/each from Lamps Plus (I was told by Lowe's these bulbs have to be purchased online and they don't stock them in stores). For these reasons I only gave 3 stars instead of 4. ... show more

We could not be happier with these sconces. They are a beautiful brushed nickel, with 2 glass shades - the outer shade is clear with bubbles inside, and the inner shade is white/vanilla colored. So beautiful. When on, the inner shade almost looks like a candle inside the glass. They are perfect. We ordered 4 and liked them so much we ordered another 2. All arrived quickly. The packaging was terrific. None of them were damaged. Installation was easy. They even included a tool to use to screw ring on light socket since it would otherwise be a little challenging to reach inside the shade. I feel like we really updated the house by replacing our old fixtures with these! Really pleased! ... show more

Beautiful light! However… One of the interior, opaque globes did not have a large enough opening at the base to go over the lighting fixture. Luckily our contractor was able to remedy the problem. The globe did suffer a hairline crack in the process, which is now facing the back. It is irritating that my brand new light will forever have a crack due to a manufacturing mistake. If I had not had a good contractor installing this light, it would have been returned, as I do not have the tools or the skill set to fix such a problem. The matching sconce leans forward off the wall with no way to correct. My advice for any DIY-er would be to assemble all of the pieces out of the box, before attaching it to the wall to avoid this frustration. ... show more

    • Classy sconces to update your wall in any room
Color: Brushed Nickel, Double Shade
These sconces looked classy, with a touch of bling crystal for my foyer wall. These have two types of cylinder glass shades, the inner one frosted and the outer in clear seeded glass. This made them look like candles on brushed nickel mount from the wall. I tried to find a matching inverted pendant ceiling light fixture with brushed nickel from Kira brand in the foyer, but ended up finding an 18 inches diameter frosted seeded glass inverted pendant light fixture from another manufacturer. Overall, the Kira wall sconces made the foyer more modern and updated with the new color pale teal/gray painted walls (goodbye 10 years of builder’s beige walls) and off-white chair height wainscoting and ceiling crown moldings. My husband and son put those fixtures on the wall. My husband even put a proper dimmer switch to accommodate the dimmable LED light bulbs in the sconces. The delivery service of the sconces packed well in their boxes was on the time expected. Amazon did well on my previous orders, so I am very satisfied the light fixtures, the sconces and the ceiling inverted pendant had arrived unbroken and on time to complete my foyer renovations. ... show more

This is pretty, but has a design flaw. It’s nearly impossible to get a bulb in and out with the glass insert. My insert ultimately broke. I took a regular lampshade and cut it down to fit in place of the glass insert. That’s a problem when it’s up so high on the wall and you can barely get your hand in, but the homemade cut-out shade insert still looks beautiful inside the outer glass. As I said, "No Matching Chandelier...." So disappointing... I asked the company about this and the person said that they have no plans to do so at this time. If I made one myself by ordering five of the Kira Home Victoria 10" Transitional Wall Sconces with the Frosted Glass Inner Shade and Seeded Glass Outer Shade in Brushed Nickle, along with a chandelier in brushed nickle to devise one - it would cost me a fortune. SO DISAPPOINTED..... :( ... show more

DO NOT PURCHASE!!Each sconce has a defect! As the reviews say, they scratch easily. Kira Home take note! Do not just put the sconce backs in a plastic bag with screws, etc. All three I purchased are scratched and dented!! Now my contractor is here with no time to return/exchange!! Do not buy! They’re beautiful but dented. Soooo SAD!!! ... show more

I can only give four stars to this product as we just received the light fixture and are installing it in new home next month. Taking it out of a well-packed box, the light fixture looks beautiful and very sturdy. I was surprised to see a white sleeve inside the bubble glass feature. Guess I missed that in the description when I ordered it. I think that is great in that one may not want to see a bulb. I look forward to seeing the fixture installed and lit. ... show more
