It was a pain in the neck to set up: the buttons work out of order before initial setup. But once set up, it works really well. N64 games were more miss than hit. Mario Kart: doesn’t steer: it’s unplayable! Capcom II: don’t work at all! Ps1: work perfectly!! Game boy advance, sega genesis, Dreamcast, Pokemon games: all worked perfectly! Games save as advertised! Overall, there’s a lot of games to choose from that work very well! If you’re getting this for its N64 games collection: you’re better off getting an actual N64 and a 340 games in one cartridge.

When I plugged it in I kept getting msg on screen filesystem corruption i tried to push all buttons on remote and control I unplugged it over 10 times still won't work finally got it to work but keep freezing when I choose game wait or try to push buttons nothing happens I pressed power button off and back on nothing I had to unplug it every time it freezes I personally think the issue with the cheap SD card they use i was reading on line a lot customer but good quality SD card and copy original sd them they use the new ad card from what I was reading a lot was recommending to get better SD card I don't want to buy my own SD card and invest money and go through it

Move tried a few different retro gaming systems. I returned 4 other ones but this one ROCKED. All the games I wanted and the system emulators I wanted! PlayStation and Super Nintendo selections were spot on what I wanted. Controllers are a bit flimsy and not crazy responsive, but this console handled the after market controllers I got perfect. Got Super Nintendo and a different playstation set of controllers. STOP YOUR SEARCHING! You found the best. :-)

Works as advertised, mostly despite a MAJOR FAFO hole. Read below and be warned. Need to know: -Noticeable lag on wireless controllers. Don’t know if getting different ones would fix. Best to go wired. -Automatic emulation setting works horribly. Must select right emulator manually on many of the games. -MOST IMPORTANT: DO NOT mess with resolution settings. Hardware supports higher than 4K, but Emuelec DOES NOT. Changing res alters config file on hidden partition and you can’t fix it without forking over $50+ for something like Disk Genius that will let you edit or another android editor.

I thought I'd get this for my son even with the mixed reviews. Tried ten or 12 different games once we got it all hooked up, and none of them worked. It was like the games were in simulation. Running, jumping, shooting, etc without even touching the controller. Couldn't quit any games no matter what button was pushed on the controller. And yes, the controller was set up properly. Had to unplug the unit and reboot to try different games each time. Finally found an arcade game that worked ok, but again trying to quit out of the game was impossible. Pushed every button on the controller, and some simultaneously. Had to unplug it to get out. At that point, I just boxed it back up, and printed the return shipping label. Over 20 years or so of buying Chinese products from Amazon and eBay, thus is the biggest POS I've ever received.
