They are from the different product. After a lot of digging, I was able to find that this memory was the official memory upgrade to the QNAP TVS-h1688X. The memory works as advertised and was able to max out the NAS with four of these for 128GB total.

In case this helps someone: My build is a Ryzen 9 3900X, ASRock X570 Taichi, and I can confirm this memory is recognized as ECC by the system even though it’s not listed in the QVL.
