I got this guy as a back up to a must more expensive Kingston I got a while ago ( yes i have like 4 thumb drives/ dropbox/ google drive all to back up work and school research/ etc) This unit works great for most user, the only knock on the unit is not that important but needs to be said, its read and write speeds are slower then the more expensive Kingston thumb drives. However again most people will be ok with the slower drive as long as its not used for something like a media server stick ie play movies in HD off of. in saying that i really have not had a problem with speed for any of my uses including as a media stick. Pros: Price, name brand, would buy again Cons: read/write speeds ( not a problem for most users)

Does exactly what you expect it to do. Just pull back the cover, insert the tip into the slot, and it’s fast, but steady. Feels a bit cheap and flimsy, especially noticeable when sliding back the cover, as it is made completely of plastic; but for this price point, you really can’t complain about that. Another quirk that I noticed is, you need to pull back the cover all the way (until you feel a slight click), or else the tip doesn’t go all the way in , and your computer will not be satisfied and will not read the stick. I purchased it more for the function. Needed a 64gb stick for work and it deployed an image out to over 3,000 laptops, no issues. Literally, in & out, in & out, until I finished.

These days I don't think much about USB drives, though I seem to use them a lot. Usually I buy what's cheapest and go for small stuff (I never need more than 8 GB). But this time I decided to buy something faster. These Kingston DataTravelers are 32 GB, so there is at least 24 GB that will never be used. But the good thing is that they are really, really fast. Much faster than what I'm used to. And they were cheap. These cost only a very small amount more than the cheapest usb drives you can get, but they are way faster and larger. I definitely recommend them. The build is also good quality, but that's pretty much standard these days.

I bought a few of these as extras to keep around at work. I'm in I.T. and find myself constantly "lending" out flash drives to people. These flash drives rarely make it back to me. So I keep a stash of cheap flash drives around for this reason. Obviously, since these things typically are not returned, I try not to spend much money on these flash drives. But I also need them to work so I generally get name brand flash drives. I bought a few of these 32GB Kingstons a while back and have good success with them, they aren't the fastest things around I want to say they bench at around 120-140 MB/S read , but like most cheap USB 3.0 drives, they only write at around 40-70 MB/S. Which is good enough for what I need. The price was right, I think I paid something like $6.99 a piece for a few of them. At that price, I don't mind it too much if they never get returned to me after people borrow them.

My thoughts: Item looks like images posted and fits sellers description. I purchased this to do a systems backup for my new laptop. It works great. The casing is sleek and looks high end. It fit perfectly and functioned well. It is small and easy to store. I like the sliding cap design very much. It helps protect it very well. Mine worked great and I didn't find it that slow. The whole backup was done pretty fast, of course I didn't time it, but It didn't take very long. I personally am very pleased with it and found fr what I needed it fr it worked great! That is all I will be using it for too though. I am giving this product a one out of five due to perceive false advertisement. No matter how much I format this device and it always give a full 32 gigabyte versus the 64 gigabyte it was manufacture as. Either I get response from the seller or I am refunded this product. I paid for what I have asked and I expected both the manufacture and the seller to hold there end of the bargain. I have attached a picture and the Drive letter for this device is G; as you can see I am getting a 32 gigabyte not the 64 gigabyte as advertise! Update: I just received my replace and it is showing the correct space amount. I am guessing the previous thumb drive, it fell through the crack of quality assurance department. So I am changing the 1 out of 5 to 5 out of 5.

(It's colored because I bought 2 of these and had to mark them) I've believed the Kingston flash drives are built well since I bought one quite awhile ago for school and it lasted so long and was so dependable so I started buying this brand and haven't been disappointed yet. This particular one has great transfer speed and overall great value for your money. The only thing I could find negative about it is the track it's set up with to "open" and "close" has the potential to become jammed if some crap gets in there, plus ut really seems to serve no purpose anyway since the end is still exposed. But for the money this is a 5 star buy it's working out great!
