    • Nicely built and worked great right out of the box.
I weight 210 pounds, so this was the lowest price wheel that has adequate power for someone my size. With all the Chinese writing on the box and materials, I was a bit apprehensive about the quality, but this thing seems to be nicely put together. It's smooth, quiet, and quite powerful. The app is not the best, but it is functional. I was pleasantly surprised that I can actually ride the wheel without using the app too. Riding was easier to learn than I expected. I watched some YouTube videos to learn how to ride. Within about an hour, I was riding it inside my house with minimal assistance from the walls. The next day, I took it to work where we have long hallways and a tile floor. After an hour of practice there, I was zipping around the building. I then took it outside and I was already able to mount handsfree and ride around the parking lot. I can feel some muscle fatigue as the new muscles are getting a workout, so taking breaks helps. Since I'm 55, everyone who sees me thinks I'm nuts, but I LOVE it! Don't be afraid of learning something new...it's quite fun! UPDATE== Over the past month, i've put a bunch of miles on this thing. I did a single 12 mile trip. The battery was weak towards the end of the trip and it reduced the speed substantially. However, considering my weight, I was very impressed with the range and power of this wheel. I taught my son how to ride and it took quite a few bumps, but the wheel keeps rolling. The interface with my blue tooth seems a bit glitchy sometimes as the music may not play or the volume control sometimes doesn't work. However, a reset by holding the power button seems to resolve it most of the time. I do have to say, that the blue tooth speakers are a VERY nice feature.     • Fun “little” commuter
I’ve been using KS-14D as my first EUC, and have been commuting to work for 2weeks now and I have to say it has been a blast. Let me just say that I live in a city with a lot of hills and bumpy roads, with a 14inch tire it does the work and goes decently fast for an affordable version of the KS brand. So far I’ve gone a little over 15 mph but for a relatively small wheel I wouldn’t push it too hard over its preferred limits, but use it for casual cruising(there’s a reason why max speed was set). There are safety measures involved that are great, like the programmed voice that tells you to decelerate every time you hit the set speeds on the app(can be changed being the speed when the voice tells you to slow down, tilt back and the voice into beeps). Things to really take note of are: -it’s around 30lbs for the relatively small King Song wheel so not fun to carry still but it’s balanced walking handle feature is great to take inside with ease, not stair friendly( can also wheel it around when off but feels awkward). -I’ve done casual online research, even though these wheels were made to take falls and scrapes. And I have done enough of that. I wouldn’t be too daring with this wheel unless you want to shorten the lifespan. Cause I have had a minimal crash at which it fell on the side and not work. Apparently the balancing wire to the electronics got loose, it had to be opened up to tighten. So unlike it’s larger and more expensive versions I would treat this wheel with a little more caution like a smaller and younger child. -EUC maintenance, hard to find a store in my city there are very few and are spread out, relatively new PEV technology. -learning curb I would compare it to like riding a bike, having YouTube videos to inform and teach me exercises and basics, took about a week of practice to be ready for the road. -been on a ride with a friend with a one wheel XR does the job in keeping up and battery usage was comparably about the same NOTE: I’m a new EUC rider and this is what I personally know so far about owning this wheel for about a month now and commuting for 2weeks straight. It’s a great beginner wheel for casual cruising and commuting in cities with hills and bumps, can perform well on park gravel and dirt trails but be extra careful there as big slanted dips are not fun. Be prepared with safety gear cause falling will happen. Respect and do your research on its limits and make sure to have enough practice before hitting the streets, bike lanes, and sidewalks. Charged in about 3 hours. Took me an hour to learn how to balance and stay on. Still learning to turn but not giving up. This machine took some hard crashes and still works great. Besides the learning curve to ride, it's a great machine. I did twist my ankle slightly but it's not the machines fault. The speakers are loud. The lights are bright.     • RETURNED PRODUCT/ NO REFUND 700$ GONE
I followed the instructions for this product and could not get it to work properly. Half a day and no luck. It malfunctioned and I flew off it with the abrupt stop. Luckily I had my helmet on. Thanks 87$ in postage I will not get back. Item returned and received on August 30th at destination dock. I am awaiting my refund. Keep in mind if you have a faulty product here and send it back you will pay a lot of money in postage that you won’t get back. Is it worth 87$ to take a risk? I don’t think so. After three separate calls on three different days in the past month and jumping through hoops I am finally getting a refund. It cost me a little over 730$ for this product. I WILL ONLY GET 587$ BACK BECAUSE OF 140$ RESTOCKING FEE!!! TOTAL BS!!! DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. This is what happens even after returning it! The media could not be loaded. Nunca prendió, ya lo cargue pero no prende, no gastes tu dinero con este euc que no funciona, ya comencé el proceso de devolución, muy mal por kingsong por mandar cosas que no funcionan.
