I bought set #1, which has Aurora Borealis glass fish, etc. None of the photos shown for these beads really do them justice! They are transparent, aurora borealis glass. I LOVE THESE! so cute with all the little creatures and shells. Came with a little pack of seed beads. Everything was individually bagged. I would definitely buy these again! Great price for glass at $12 too!

When buying glass beads it is almost inevitable that a piece or two could break from the jostling of getting to your home. Hopefully, this is minimal, each set of bead type is packaged separately to keep them from rustling around too much. This is useful for finding exactly what you need unless you decide to dump them all out in the container they come in or into your own system of organizers. The first picture shows you what you can make with the findings, on the bottom of the image, these finished items (2 bracelets, pair of earrings) are not included. The last three photos show you ideas of what else you can make with this set. Not all the stars and moons will have replicas for pairs and 3-piece sets which would be a necklace or bracelet with earrings. So you could make them kind of mismatched if you so choose. Or order a few of these sets to make sure you have enough duplicates. These will work great for any jewelry making, keychains, car hanging charms, dangle charms to hang off of wine bottles and things, and especially dream catchers. I might use a few pieces for jewelry, but these are going to look gorgeous in my dream catchers. You could even make wine glass charms with these so everyone can tell whose glass is whose. I am thrilled with this beautiful set of charm beads in style 2. Real glass, even the pearls are glass beads. Understand that you may or may not receive a broken piece or a few, those pieces could have broken due to weak spots where bubbles naturally occur. Great job on keeping them separately bagged up in each set of beads which keeps them from less damage from, ship happens. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. These glass beads are very pretty! I can't wait to start making bracelets. The set contains glass stars (I received 102), glass crescent moons (I received 49 unbroken ones), 4mm round pearlized glass beads (I received 288), a small bag of tiny glass seed beads (I received 38 grams), 20 silver-colored earring hooks, and a small amount of stretch nylon thread. Each type of bead is in its own bag, and all are then packed into a small plastic box for storage. The Amazon description photo makes it seem like all the beads are just tossed into the box together. They are not. Most of the stars I received are pastel, with a handful of red ones and one dark blue. The moons are many different colors, with some translucent, others pearlized, and still others flecked with gold. I'm happy with my set - but do be aware that the moons are fragile. Two of mine arrived with their tips broken off and are unusable. In many cases, the hole for stringing is drilled much too close to the edge of the moon's tip. I carefully checked each of mine, and I am a little nervous about using several of them. I don't want them to break upon their first wearing. Depending on how these moons hold up, I would probably buy this set again because it is very pretty indeed. ... show more

This is a cute set of little glass beads and findings. The coloring appears to be a coating - I put them through a rock tumbler and they all came out white, so I don't know how long the coloring will last. Overall, they are good for basic / beginner jewelry making and crafting.
