The media could not be loaded. Wounded up neat, dry and printed very well, surface texture is smooth and had no clogs, filament diameter is accurate, had no jams on the extruder... no stringing , no tangles and perfect printing out the box. Color is vibrant but I do wish the purple/ gold dual color was more of a brighter gold..the gold shade was more of a copper or orange gold then a bright shiny gold. The filament printed very nicely and adhered well on the texture pei build plate. Highly recommend this product for the price and quality

This material was checked for size (diameter), moisture, and functionality It was well within the tolerances if 1.75mm pla filament, the material was very flexible with no breaking when testing the moisture level to see if it was brittle, which it was in great shape. The material printability and over all finished look is outstanding, very beautiful mix of colors that can be used to really draw attention to 3D print model, it really delivers a home run when it comes to aesthetics. I ordered the 4 pack of various color silk pla. 2 of the 4 spools were bot vacuum sealed and one had dust/dirt in the package. When I tried printing with the first one (black/purple), the shade of purple was beautiful. However, the transition between black and purple is so abrupt that it looks terrible. Also, 3/4 the way through the print, the filament got stuck and caused a spectacular fail (actually ejected the item I was printing off the plate). I had to pull quite hard on the filament to get it to separate from the spool. It was like the filament had kind of melted to the layer below. Now I'm going to have to have to unwind all the spools and rewind them just to be able to use them. I'm seriously wondering if it's even worth the effort...? Bottom line is that it's a good thing I didn't pay very much for this (I guess it is true that you get what you pay for) or I'd be really angry and returning it. I'm just never buying this brand ever again.

This was my first time using Kinroon filament. The dual color PLA silk filament looks great. From one side it appears almost purple and from the other it looks more black or at times blue. For the dragon that I printed the color shift make it look magical. The first layer was very smooth and had no problems sticking to the bed. The subsequent layers also had no problems during printing. The spool is plastic and worked fine in the Bambu AMS and mounted on the AMS Lite. I printed with Generic PLA silk settings in the slicer. I really dont have any complaints to report so I have ordered a Kingroon PETG for my next project.

I have bought many spools of this filament and it always looks great and prints great. The only issue I have is that out of over 10 spools, I have only had 2 that were not twisted on the spool. If you want to have the color gradient that is shown in the picture, you can't have the filament twisted. This makes the color very non uniform. My customers don't seem to mind it, but it does bother me. It also has resulted in some knots when printing due to it spinning as it is pulled from the spool.
