I'm in my 70's and I'm not as steady as I used to be. I feel really insecure on ladders now, so this 4 step ladder/stool is just the ticket when I need to reach the high shelves in my garage. The ladder/stool is very steady even when standing on the top step. Bracing my lower legs against the top bar
adds to the secure feeling. Some have complained that the ladder is difficult to fold flat, but what they are objecting to is actually a security feature that locks the top step. It's probably overkill, but it's well thought out. To unlock the top step all you need to do is give the underside of the top step a little bump with the heel of your hand. That releases the step and allows the ladder to be folded flat. Once folded flat the ladder is light enough that it can be easily carried.

Very sturdy but not easy to open and close

Very sturdy. I feel very comfortable on ladder and I weigh 220 lbs. However, it isn't the easiest to open and close. Still a good ladder for the price.

I questioned the vendor about the weight limit. He said it will hold up to 900 lbs. I can’t vouch for 900 lbs, but it holds my 250 very well. The ladder closes easily. Great step ladder! Work but not as described

Comes all set up and out of the box use. It's decent but feels just a little shaky and would of hope more sturdier. Says 900 load but nice sticker saying max weight is 150 kg or around 330 lbs. Per step/3step 900 I guess. Folds up nice and not too heavy.

A good everyday home indoor ladder.

No tools needed for setup as it's completely pre assembled. Setup from the top pull the top square bar towards you and the top step away from you. The ladder is secure when you press the top step onto the top round bar. Listen for a click. See photo also. Working space. Around 29" deep by 18" wide an
d around 43 height. Storage space. 2.5" deep by 18" wide by 47" tall. Weighs around 16 lbs. Has rubber feet that are riveted into the frame legs. Bottom steps are under 9" deep each, top step is under 11". You gain almost 27" in height when standing on the larger top step. The square metal tubes are strong and sturdy. All welding looks solid on the back of the ladder (top and bottom round tube) The only non sturdy part of this ladder is the medal slats that hold the steps. When you step up on the first step, you can see a small amount of flex. Middle step is you get the most flex. Top step almost zero flex. The ladder is made well, with my weight of around 200 lbs. A very nice black paint on the main ladder. Didn't have any marks on my floor from moving the ladder around. Ladder stays in place thanks to the feet. This has no sort of tool tray for shelf. The top safety rail on the ladder is nice and flat. For storage could be hung up easily. Would be nice to see this ladder in a more home friendly color. Storing next to the fridge was the perfect spot. Hope this was helpful.

As an avid DIYer, a good utility ladder is a must have in my tool arsenal. I have a 6-foot aluminum step ladder and a 2-step utility ladder, but something like this is a very useful when my unwieldy step ladder is just too big, and the 2-step ladder is not tall enough. This 4-step utility ladder look
s like it can bridge that gap and is still small and light enough to be very handy. It appears to be very well-made, with steel tubing and robust fasteners and hardware to keep the ladder strong. The steps are made of reinforced plastic and are all hinged together so it opens and closes with ease. The top step has a notch that snaps into a tube to lock everything in place when it is deployed. The top of the ladder features a safety handle that doubles as stabilizing support when standing on the top rung. Unfortunately there is not a lock to keep the ladder closed, so it may spring open at an inopportune time. A Velcro strap can help secure the ladder closed if need be, and it does fold to a very flat 3 inches. Be careful when folding, there are some gotcha points that will pinch fingers. This particular ladder may have been tested to 900 pounds, but I seriously doubt it can support that kind of weight, nor should anyone want to. I was curious as to how much this ladder weighed since it was not specified. I weighed it on a digital scale and it came in at 12.6 pounds, fairly light. I would recommend this utility ladder to anyone that has a need to get something from a high shelf, or to do some home repairs. It is sturdy and has good height, folds flat and is easy to handle. This ladder has become an indispensable tool in my house and my go to ladder.

Max 150kg or 330lbs, minor assembly required

I have no doubt they tested it and beared 900lbs before breaking, but the affixed label states MAX 150kg equal to around 330lbs is the working to load limit. This arrives in 2 sections, you will be installing the upper tray and handrail with the included hardware, which took me roughly 10 minutes. I'
m 205lbs and my husband is 300lbs, and neither of us feel like it's being over burdened. Although you will feel a little feedback when leaning from the top step. When standing on the top step, the plastic tray hits me mid shin. It gives something to balance against when both hands are in use. I appreciate this having the tray, which most ladders this height don't seem to offer. The steps are steel, and clad on the treads with a plastic of sorts for traction. I may add a few non slip tape strips for better grip when my shoes are wet. It's not the widest ladder, but ample enough this wide body can sit on the top step for a break, and will stow in narrower areas than my Werner ladder of the same 24" height. I'm pleased with it so far, and like that it has a heavier weight bearing capacity than most others of it's size, if something changes, I'll report back. Hopefully this was helpful, Thank you!

This is a nice step ladder and is going to be great for occasional use around the house for things like reaching tall cabinets, top shelves of closets, replacing light bulbs, etc. It seems to be pretty sturdy but I don't think I would be confident putting anywhere close to 900 pounds on it! a big guy and it does not seem to have a problem supporting my 300 pounds. When I took it out of the box, I was not very thrilled to see that it required some assembly but it turned out be be pretty easy. All necessary hardware (including Allen wrenches and screws) is included, and it took less than ten minutes. Unfortunately, it is the top part of the ladder (the top handle that you hold onto when climbing up it) that has to be attached to the rest of the ladder and no matter how much you tighten the screws, it ends up feeling a little bit loose and wobbly. For this reason, I am giving it four stars rather than five.

Overall pretty happy with this product. I don't know if it really supports 900lbs, but it supported 300 easily. It's not flimsy at all. Only problem is that for reasons beyond me, the top bar and tray needs to be installed. Wouldn't be a big deal, but it also doesn't come with any instructions, just
a bag of various screws and washers. There is a sheet that says "Assembly Instructions" but it is just generic safety info, nothing about actually assembling it. At any rate, it's not rocket science but it is annoying

It's a great ladder, first of all it's light, it's very easy when you try to move it, and it's surprisingly strong and stable. Its height is perfectly sufficient for indoor use, and for outdoor use, if it is not very high, I think it should be sufficient.
