A good fit is a must in order for a mattress pad like this to provide the protection you need and the comfort you want! This gets five stars in both areas! I have one of those memory foam mattress toppers on top of my mattress and box springs. The mattress was way too firm for my liking so the memory foam provided the "sink" that I needed. The problem was that the "sink" was too much. This mattress pad didn't kill the memory foam, but it did firm it up enough that it provided the perfect comfort I was looking for. Bought this product a year ago when my son was transitioning fully out of pull ups. Easy to put on the bed. Dried quickly on the clothesline. It was soft and protected the mattress! However a year later & any accidents means the mattress is wet depending on how much liquid.

This has saved our mattress and money. After our son's 3rd accident in bed (it didn't happen often but 3rd times a charm), we heard about waterproof bedsheets and I purchased this game changer. It fits perfectly, the sides are of good quality material that doesn't rip and the sheet soaks up the accident without it leaking onto the mattress. We just strip the bed, throw it in the wash and put it back on. We weren't stressed or putting stress on our son about having accidents anymore and everything improved. My daughter is five months pregnant with my first grand baby (granddaughter) and was sleeping on a mattress she said had springs poking out! We cannot have that…can we? So, despite the fact that I just purchased a hybrid bed in a box at Walmart for my other daughter who went away to college, I researched what the best affordable mattress is right now and I read ALL the reviews I could find on Amazon. After much research, I went with this mattress and later realized that the wal mart bed in a box was almost exactly the same. Both my daughters love it! My pregnant daughter said she only woke up one time in the night and that had nothing to do with discomfort like it had. She just needed to use the bathroom which is very normal for halfway through one’s pregnancy. Since we are separated by distance, this was the one way I could be there for her. GREAT PURCHASE! for under $500, I got the mattress and 2 year warranty, the waterproof mattress cover, sheets and comforter, and the Bed frame. Deal of a lifetime and it’s not even the big sale yet! She’s pleased so I’m pleased. Only minor issue was that they could not use the base due to the holes not matching up and couldn’t be screwed together. Minor screw up lol. But true to Amazon the return policy is made easy and I will be purchasing a little better one when the refund comes. Hopefully during the BIG SALE that’s in a day or two.
