This mattress was purchased for my adult sized daughter to use. We wanted to move away from the typical box spring, mattress combo. So we opted for a bed in a box and new metal support frame. The full sized mattress arrived nicely packaged in a box about 5’ long. It was very heavy for its size so I needed help to get it upstairs to her room. Once unpackaged, it was set out and allowed to rise for a day. The mattress is supposed to be 11” thick. It made it to 9.5” at best in the center. It measured 8 inches along the sides and 7” on the corners. The mattress is upper comfortable and provides great support for a good nights sleep. It feels well made. The only issue is the edge support, it sinks a bit when sitting or lying near the sides. Not a huge problem, but something to consider. Overall a great choice. ... show more

This was ordered for a friend's bedroom. This full size 10-inch mattress has standard dimensions of 75" × 54". The 10" height is great. The combination of pocket springs and foam layers creates a comfortable medium-firm feel. It's on a basic platform bed frame and it works great without a box spring. The edge support is noticeably good, making it easier for guests to sit on the side when getting ready and it won't wear down quickly from getting on an off the bed. The mattress came compressed but fully expanded. The fabric cover feels soft but durable. Not too firm and not too soft. Happy with order. This mattress is a little firmer than our old one, which probably shouldn't have surprised me as much as it did (given we got the "medium-firm" one). The "pillow topper" is a must, otherwise this would be uncomfortable. As it is, I've been sleeping as well as ever since we put this in. This is supposed to be 10" which after 1 week did not happen the most we got is a little over 8"? I went back to the directions to see if I missed something and found fine print stating there could be a 1 inch to 1.5 inch discrepency, that is what happened. This does not look like the photo as it is smaller. We have a box spring which we kept thankfully as it would be like a platform bed almost on the floor without the box spring. The mattress is soft but more like medium firm, I am not sure how comfortable it would be for side sleepers. This is a hybrid with springs which makes it fairly bouncy. This is an affordable mattress, it is comfortable for the price but not 10 inches. ... show more
