This Gourmia coffee maker is a great basic coffee maker. The carafe can pour quickly without dribbing down the sides. The top fill cover opens and closes cleanly and operates without fuss. There is a single, simple on-off power button with red light indicator. It takes a basket filter. The filter holder aligns easily and is large enough and flows well enough so the coffee grounds do not start to float and spill over into the carafe. The only thing I would suggest changing is to lengthen the power cord a little from 2 ft to 3 ft. Everything you need and nothing you don't, all for a great price.

This is one of the best coffee makers I have ever owned. I'm very happy with the quality and the coffee always tastes great. Even though the coffee stays hot it never tastes burnt or stale. The brew time is relatively short & it uses the little fluted paper filters. I have had it for several months & for whatever reason the coffee wasn't draining out of the basket when brewing. I think the little spring on the bottom of the basket wasn't staying up. I contacted the company & within a couple of days I had a new brewing basket, which works great. Their customer service is awesome as I have one of their countertop ovens with air fry. I have paid a lot more money for other coffee makers that aren't nearly as good. The price was definitely good & I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

This coffee maker is perfect for someone who is looking for a no frills easy to operate coffee maker. No bells and whistles. Just turn it on and it makes coffee. A couple nice features are the keep warm feature and the pause brewing feature. If you can't wait for your dose of caffeine, you can pull the pot out and it stops the flow until you put it back. The keep warm feature does just that. Keeps your coffee hot until you're ready for more. It's also very light weight. Perfect for someone who has trouble picking up heavy objects. Fully assembled without the pot, its 2lb 5 oz. With empty pot its 3lb 3 oz. It doesn't take up a lot of counter space either. The water gauge is also pretty easy to read. Very easy to fill as well. For a basic coffee maker, it's also very quick to start brewing. Within seconds it begins to drip (see video). For a 6 serving pot (I say serving because their definition of "cup" is different than actual measurements) it took about 6 minutes start to finish. Now, let's talk about "cup". My 6 "cup" pot was really about 4.5 actual cups of water. So, I think they base it on about 6oz. is a "cup" of coffee. In reality if you like yourself a mug of coffee, you're looking at 2-3 servings, tops! So, I'd imagine a full 12 "cup" pot would give maybe 5-6 mugs. For those into stats, I got a fresh brewed temperature of about 170 deg. F. After about 10 minutes, the keep warm still had it at about 165 deg F. It isn't very loud, although it does do its share of gurgling, hissing and bubbling as all coffee makers do. Cleanup is pretty easy as well. All in all, I'm initially very happy with my purchase. Can't speak long term as I've only had it a day, but if something changes, I will update this review. Hope you found this helpful!

Just made my first pot of coffee with my new Gourmia coffee maker!! Works great!!! Came well packed and shipped quickly!! Easy, basic and simple to use... Exactly what I wanted!! The price is perfect and inexpensive....just a nice quick simple coffee maker. Hopefully it will stand the test of time....I will clean it once in awhile and run vinegar and water through it. Thank you Gourmia and Amazon!!

This is a great basic coffeemaker for the $$$. ... Lack AUTO OFF feature. ... On-off switch is on the side, when trying to push the button, the maker slides across the countertop. Holding the coffeemaker while turning on the maker does help. . UMMM!!!! ... It has "catch" on top of the lid. at time, easy to open the lid. Other time, need to hold the maker in place while trying to open the lid. .... Unpacking the box, the lid (top of the coffeemaker) were bent (caved in) , as if top of the box put weight on the lid.

I was surprised how easy and well this coffee maker makes excellent coffee and while it just makes coffee with just an on and off button with no other options like a timing and auto switch off, it works very well. I fill the maker with 6 cups of water and I get 6 cups of coffee. And while I have to turn off the maker rather than an auto switch off, it keeps my coffee hot until I turn it off. No problem. Affordable and efficient. After I finish the coffee and clean the pot and the basket (I use a reusable filter rather than paper filters, which is more cost-effective and environmentally friendly), I also put fresh cold 5 cups of water through a brew cycle to wash out any coffee residue, which I feel will prevent a lot of calcification buildup. I highly recommend this coffee maker if you want a good cup of coffee without the higher price of the other makers with all the auto buttons, which I replaced with this new coffee maker.
