I would give a 3.5 if I could . This is a good mattress for the price, but there is a lot of misleading things in the description. I got the 14 inch for the extra padding and comfort it ended up being ALL spring. It does not have edge support, it’s very bouncy. It’s a lot better than my very old mattress but it’s not at all a quality mattress. I feel like I’m sleeping on a cheap mattress. A Plus is it works well with an adjustable base. My husband and I bought this mattress to upgrade in size from our queen. We were on a budget and the $1200 ones, in store, weren’t cutting it. I took a chance on this one after reading reviews and looking at Amazon deals. I got this one for just under 300. For a king bed in general, an absolute steal. We went from a plush nectar mattress that we didn’t love at all. This one holds it shape so much better. It’s soft but not too soft. I was surprised by it having coils and still being able to arrive so compact. My husband and I both sleep SO much better and love this bed.
