Easy to assemble.
Color: 4 Inch Size: Full
This was so easy to put together. We needed to increase the height of the mattress, and this worked perfectly. It's sturdy and appears that it will last. The assembly kit was very well organized, and also came with extra screws and nuts which is always a plus.

Easy peasy!
Color: 4 Inch Size: Twin
FYI. As easy as everyone says to assemble. BUT, If you want to use 2 of these twins for under a king mattress, they are only 75” long. A king is 80” long. We used them anyways, as we didn’t catch the difference until we had already built one. Pretty sure it will be fine. They do make a split box spring, that is 80” long, for a king mattress. More expensive, though. ... show more

Sturdy, Easy to Assemble, and Perfect for Our King Bed!
Color: 7 Inch Size: King
This king-size box spring was exactly what we needed. It arrived well-packaged, and all the parts were clearly labeled. I was a little nervous about assembling something this large, but it was actually really easy — took about 30–40 minutes with just one person, and the instructions were straightforward. Once assembled, it felt very sturdy with zero creaks or wobbling. We placed our king mattress on top, and the support is excellent — no sagging or uneven spots. It also raised the bed to just the right height, which makes it easier to get in and out of. The fabric cover gave it a clean, finished look, and it fits perfectly on our standard king bed frame. Plus, it’s much lighter and easier to move than a traditional box spring, which is a huge bonus if you’re setting it up upstairs or in a tight space. If you’re looking for a reliable, supportive, and easy-to-assemble box spring, this one is a great choice. Definitely happy with this purchase! ... show more

Great Back Support
Color: 4 Inch Size: Twin
I'm thrilled with this "box spring" (in quotes, because there are no actual springs involved). Assembly is intuitive and easy in principle; I've just dinged it one star because as another reviewer noted, some of the nuts are extremely hard to fasten to the screws. I had to use my own pliers because the wrench provided didn't hold the nut tightly enough and the Allen wrench supplied didn't want to fit in some of the screw backs. Plus there was a small imperfection on the metal of one of the side rails that extended out far enough that the bracket did not want to slide on over it as easily as it had over all three other rails; a rubber mallet eventually did the trick! Even with these complaints, I was still able to get the frame assembled on my own in about 45 minutes (most of it spent on the few resistant screws). The great thing about it is how easy it is to lift, carry (again, on my own, as a 73 year old woman) and set in place. (I actually did all this before adding the slats, just to cut down on weight. The four inch model is the perfect height for the ancient mahogany four-poster bed I inherited from my great grandmother. It provides excellent back support and I had a superlative night's sleep on it last night. ... show more

Poor support and extremely noisy
Color: 4 Inch Size: King
Unfortunately, this is probably one of the worst purchases I’ve ever made on Amazon. It was meant to be temporary anyway as we purchased a new hybrid mattress about 5 months ago and we needed a shorter base to use with our bedframe on our existing metal frame (king). The nice boxspring we had was just too tall. Got this and put it together, which wasn’t too difficult. Right away we realized it is extremely squeaky and loud, so we looked it over and made sure everything was tight, but I think it is inherently noisy. Every time we move it creaks. I started worrying about support so we purchased a Bunkie board to put in between the mattress and this base. After a few months it felt like we had poor support and did not want to ruin our new mattress so purchase a platform bed for better support; the mattress and sleep quality improved significantly. This was only meant to be temporary until we could buy a new bed, but even five months was too long. ... show more

Easy assembly was a bold claim
Color: 3 Inch Size: Full
Whoever labeled this "easy assembly" must have a very different definition of easy than the rest of us. Putting it together felt less like furniture assembly and more like an escape room challenge. The box spring is sturdy. It was put on an antique bed.. Initially it slid around so I had to zip tie it..it being the box spring.. . The cover was easy to put on.. I'll give the manufacturer that. ... show more

Sturdy but issue with dimensions
Color: 7 Inch Size: Full
It is sturdy and straightforward to assemble. The only issue is it about 1/2" too wide to fit in my simple caster wheel bed frame. The full size bed frame measures, and most frames of this size measure, 53" to 53.5" wide and the box spring is a true to size 54" so it will not fit and sit flat in the frame. So currently have the box spring on the floor and mattress on top until I can't find a solution. Wish it was designed with the frame measurements in mind. ... show more
