FYI. As easy as everyone says to assemble. BUT, If you want to use 2 of these twins for under a king mattress, they are only 75” long. A king is 80” long. We used them anyways, as we didn’t catch the difference until we had already built one. Pretty sure it will be fine. They do make a split box spring, that is 80” long, for a king mattress. More expensive, though.

very good quality for the price ..save a wear and tear on yourself and use a ratchet and socket along with the allen wrench provide and it helps SO MUCH..so glad another reviewer mentioned to use one..you can get everything nice and tight ..fit perfectly in queen metal frame ..took me a little time to build but a heck of a lot less headaches than assembling a weber grill. GET the crews and nuts rREALLY REALLY tight and there will be NO-NOISE ..that I think are peoples biggest problem . cover was a little snug but was not too bad ....overall I am very satisfied ...for me that says a lot ...SATISFIED CUSTOMER

I'm thrilled with this "box spring" (in quotes, because there are no actual springs involved). Assembly is intuitive and easy in principle; I've just dinged it one star because as another reviewer noted, some of the nuts are extremely hard to fasten to the screws. I had to use my own pliers because the wrench provided didn't hold the nut tightly enough and the Allen wrench supplied didn't want to fit in some of the screw backs. Plus there was a small imperfection on the metal of one of the side rails that extended out far enough that the bracket did not want to slide on over it as easily as it had over all three other rails; a rubber mallet eventually did the trick! Even with these complaints, I was still able to get the frame assembled on my own in about 45 minutes (most of it spent on the few resistant screws). The great thing about it is how easy it is to lift, carry (again, on my own, as a 73 year old woman) and set in place. (I actually did all this before adding the slats, just to cut down on weight. The four inch model is the perfect height for the ancient mahogany four-poster bed I inherited from my great grandmother. It provides excellent back support and I had a superlative night's sleep on it last night.

Absolute most miserable assembly project I’ve ever been faced with. I’m the ‘handyman’ in our house and have tackled many, many assembly projects over the years with a wide range of complexities. This is by far the absolute worst one ever. Like, I don’t think I’ve ever sworn so much in my life. The nuts and bolts provided have ‘antiloosing’ rubber rings on them which make them the absolute biggest pain in the rear to tighten. With the money you saved in purchasing this, be prepared to invest in a proper socket wrench, two double-shot vanilla lattes, and an entire box of Girl Scout cookies just to get you through the absolute slow-motion-misery that is putting this thing together. Not worth the money saved. I’d rather sleep on the floor than work through the nightmares this dang thing will be giving me for the rest of my life. Just spend the money on a preassembled box spring at a mattress shop and have them deliver it. Trust me, that will be the best money you’ve ever spent.

This king-size box spring was exactly what we needed. It arrived well-packaged, and all the parts were clearly labeled. I was a little nervous about assembling something this large, but it was actually really easy — took about 30–40 minutes with just one person, and the instructions were straightforward. Once assembled, it felt very sturdy with zero creaks or wobbling. We placed our king mattress on top, and the support is excellent — no sagging or uneven spots. It also raised the bed to just the right height, which makes it easier to get in and out of. The fabric cover gave it a clean, finished look, and it fits perfectly on our standard king bed frame. Plus, it’s much lighter and easier to move than a traditional box spring, which is a huge bonus if you’re setting it up upstairs or in a tight space. If you’re looking for a reliable, supportive, and easy-to-assemble box spring, this one is a great choice. Definitely happy with this purchase!

Disappointed. This is NOT a replacement for a bedspring and the pictures are misleading. Yes, the metal parts are all good and sturdy and all the parts were together, etc. However, the SLATS are 7.75 inches apart which will cause the bed to sag! The mattress manufacturers recommend that the slats be closer than that (about half) to give good support. The picture gives you the impression that they are but in reality, they aren't. I already have a platform and thought "this" would solve the problem, but it doesn't! The companies that sell these never tell you how far apart the slats are. I hope that this critique will get their attention so that they will IMPROVE their product as well as the disclosure. You don't really realize the problem until you put it all together, and thus, then decide as to whether you should return it or not. Again, the metal is solid and the parts were all together and easy to assemble, but, there should be more slats! Thank you!
