Steel thickness is good, welding is really thin and leaves a ridge under the cutting edge so that the kindling hits and doesn't split good. I'll fix with a little grinding, and then should work fine. To the production team better welding especially across the top on side plates would improve quality and usability.

Good for small pieces of wood. Larger pieces don’t work so well. Large pieces can’t split all the way through before bottoming out on the base of the splitter. Using for small pieces to put into wood burning pizza oven. Comes with the screws to attach the splitter to whatever you need which makes it stable and easy to use. It seemed quite durable considering I have used it multiple times and no issues.
