This cover feels sturdy and like it will last a long time; I've been using it about 7 months at home and on a few trips. It looks nice and fits the kindle great. However, it's not comfortable to use one-handed for me personally. I like to hold a book upright with thumb and pinky holding the book in place on my palm which works great when the Kindle is not in a cover. This position is not comfortable with this cover design. I was expecting a soft, cuddly fabric case. But no, it is rigid molded plastic with a fabric texture. And it is hardly bigger than the Kindle Paperwhite itself. Good protection against drops and spills. Easier to hold than the uncased Kindle. It turns off the Kindle when the cover is closed and it allows wireless charging. Amazon is amazing. ... show more

Color is more pink on inside and heather pink on outside of case, light color makes it easy to spot in my tote bag. Texture on outside of case makes it easier to hold on to. This is a nice cover for my new kindle. I really like the texture of the cover. It’s easy to grip, not slippery at all. It does not collect fingerprints. Should be easy to clean. It fits the kindle perfectly.

Enjoy how easy it is to use my new kindle (first time user - late to the new tech...). Cover is easy to hold and protects the kindle nicely. it is a bit slippery at first but improved with use. It would be nice if it had a small handle or holder on the back to make it easier to read in bed.

I got this cover as a "like new" used item. It looked brand new when it arrived. The only damage was to the box but it was very slight. Not bad for around $13! I know the brand new cases cost quite a bit but having paid a fraction of the original cost sure was nice As far as the case goes, it's good. I did experience the uncomfortable holding issues others talked about (the edge on the long side isn't flush with the kindle so there's a ledge that can dig into your palm). After some time, however, I barely notice the ledge. The flap stays open by magnetically attaching to the back of the case which is awesome. The fabric feels ok and it overall looks fantastic. It allows for wireless charging which makes sense since it's an Amazon product. It also feels safe and secure. I haven't dropped my kindle (thankfully) but I'm sure the case will protect it. I’m single and when I eat at a sandwich shop or in my car, I like to read. My old kindle cover had a stand so I didn’t have to crane my neck to read it lying flat. The size is a snug fit with no room to move for shock absorption if I drop it. So far it seems to not be a problem.
