Excellent eReader that functions as a somewhat fast full android tablet. Personally, I tend to use it as an eReader, but the occasionally I find that it is nice to have the standard tablet functions as well. The Battery life is incredible, as I tend to only charge it once every few weeks (I tend to use it only for an hour or so in the evenings for reading with the WiFi slider turned off). It does seem to use slightly more battery with WiFi on, but I'm rather diligent in turning WiFi off when just reading. The backlight does not seem to affect the battery one way or another, so the backlight is a feature that I tend to leave on -- it has the ability to not only change the brightness, but the warmth of the light (ie: white/blueish or warm/reddish) and can be dimmed enough not to bother my sleeping wife if I want to stay up late reading in the dark. The color quality is excellent, too. I have a few comic collections that I purchased on DVD in PDF format years ago that I have transferred to an SD Card to read on this tablet (yes, this eReader has a standard SD Card slot... something that other tablets do not... so, the 64GB internal memory does not really matter, as I use a much larger external card) -- if comics or manga are your interest in a color eReader, this one is great for that... especially since it's a larger screen that lets you see an entire page of the comic book at a time. However, it's good for just plain black and white reading as well... actually, the software has a nice "night time" toggle that inverts the black and white such that the text is white on black (which is nice when reading in the dark). Speaking of the software... they company has pushed several high quality updates to the tablet. So, it has remained feeling modern and up-to-date. So, yes... after a year of use, I'm impressed with this table and its value for the money. Negatives? Well... these aren't all that negative, but they are things that I'm not crazy about... It comes with a cover and an electronic stylus pen which both magnetically attach to the tablet. I never really use the pen, although it feels natural (more like a graphite pencil than a pen). The cover should be thought of more as a protect it from getting scratched more than a protect it from being dropped. I've never dropped this tablet, but the case would probably not stop it from breaking... it's rather thin and the front of the tablet is not made with that heavy gorilla glass (the screen is a nice lightweight matte, but does seem a little more fragile than a cell phone, for instance). But, these are not exactly negatives... just things that I noticed. The lighter build quality makes it about half the weight as my older standard LED android tablet. I recommend this tablet.

This is a lovely product but not worth the high price. A couple of apps are entirely in Chinese; I need to learn how to change the language settings in the app. The product picture shows 100+ templates, but I only found about 15-20. I asked the question in the Q&A, but I am still waiting for someone to respond. (In my case, I was looking forward to a music sheet template... I found one free PDF online, but it does not fit very well) On the good side, the app for recording meetings is good; I like the AI integration since it is a new technology. It could be better, but it is good. The option to download apps from Google Play is a plus. For writing notes and book reading, it is excellent. Another plus was the relatively fast shipping for coming from China. I recommend this ink note tablet to anyone who does not care about the price and is not looking for or expecting many templates. (I will gladly update my rating if I can get an answer on how to get more templates.) Update: I did get a response. They did not get what I was asking, but they tried. I found other PDFs online that can be used as templates. I still think it is pricey, but I do recommend it. I am even thinking of purchasing another one.

The product uses E-ink technology for display, not LED/LCD, which significantly reduces eye strains for serious readers. It is an excellent product for business meeting such as recording, note taking, and voice transcription. The Tablet is a great product for students for their note taking, drawing, and book reading. On top of that, it comes with free apps such as ChatGPT and Multi-lingual text translation. The camera can be enhanced for document scan and text recognition capabilities.

Despite the title, I'll lead with this is a GREAT e-reader. I've enjoyed reading both books and graphic novels immensly using this reader due to it's size and clarity. The Google Play availability makes it even better, with being able to add all of my book sources directly. No weird setup required to get Kindle or other sources installed. If this could be where my review stopped it would easily get 4 or 5 stars. All that said, a BIG reason not to get this is that you cannot register or set a password on the device. I'm not sure where the block is coming from, but this being a company based in China, it may be blocked much like Huawei. The android implementatio while very acceptable is off just enough that it is fourcing you to use their registration process, leaving you wide open. Google treats the OS as if it's a rooted device(lower security) and that also raises my security concerns. I absolutely love the reader, so I'll use it as just that, but I can't put anything sensitive on it since I can't lock it. Update: I was able to register it once it was on a different network. I had the displeasure of contacting Bigme support, and received circular responses. It was as if nothing i said in my steps was read and they kept asking the same 2 questions over and over for 2 days. I still love the reader, as a reader.
