More than a quarter of the bottle isn’t filled on arrival! Much closer to 3oz. No, it did not leak in transit it was just packaged this way. Will be returning for another one. What a rip off. Update: I got a second one hoping it would be filled more to the top, and it wasn't. I went ahead and tried to use it anyway, and this was a giant globby, smelly mess. I bought mine from Chewy. Couldn't post a review there for some unknown reason so am posting one here. I think this works. I agree the directions which say to use a dropper full make little sense. I use the dropper to put some on cosmetic pads and put it in my cat's ear that way. I kind of twist the pad up and put it in his ear. I have also found it useful for healing areas outside my cat's ears where he scratches. When my cat hears the lid being twisted off, he vanishes, so I always have to strategically plan in advance of doing this. So far, no side effects. I would buy it again. ... show more

Not sure if it does much. I used it once, a few drops in each ear. My cat was not pleased with the strong scent. He also kept messing with his ears non stop, and ended up smelling like it all over. He then groomed excessively for a day or two, until he no longer smelled like it. I took off one star for the intense smell. I did try to wipe him down to tame it, to no avail. If it smelled strong to me, I can't imagine what my cat thought having to smell this for two days. Can't speak to it's potency. ... show more

I liked that is was kinda thick and oily. It’s seems to sooth his ear right away. It has a nice smell. The itch and black gunk is virtually gone. It’s saving us from vet visits to get ear drops he hated and didn’t ever really work.
