Don't order this tablet expecting an iPad or similar quality. I ordered this as a gift for my neighbor, who has 4 children and can't afford a tablet so is constantly giving up her own phone to entertain her kids when needed in waiting rooms and such. I played with it myself before giving it over, and for the price point, I was impressed. It easily charged, turned on, and connected to WiFi. While the Android interface doesn't feel nearly as slick or modern as Apple, it works. While memory storage is quite limited, this device is perfectly adequate for parents who don't really need much out of a screen and thus don't want to go all-in on an expensive tablet purchase, but would love to have a safe screen for their young kids for situations like travel, waiting rooms, regulation in unexpected stressful situations, etc. My favorite feature was that the TV section doesn't require any work to upload or connect your own videos--it automatically has uploaded a large menu of child-appropriate shows from YouTube, avoiding the pitfalls of YouTube "suggestions" or rollovers into inappropriate content. The sound quality is perfectly fine--again, it's not an iPad, but you can hear, and there was no tinniness. Maximum volume is not exceedingly loud, hopefully minimizing parental and public annoyance. This is essentially a full-featured Android tablet that comes pre-packaged in a nice, kid-friendly case, and it also includes its own parent-controlled software. As a developer myself, I can be quite picky about electronics for my kids, but the way their software is integrated as an addition to a regular Android system is very reassuring. This means you can still access all your normal apps if you want to. The dedicated kids app offers reasonable controls, allowing parents to set different limits for things like video apps versus educational or reading apps. It comes with an impressive selection of pre-loaded software within its own store, but crucially, it also lets you whitelist regular apps from the Play Store so your kids can access them from within their own controlled account. The hardware itself is a pretty mediocre tablet, so it's certainly not going to compete with more expensive models. However, it's very well made and packaged together, making it an ideal choice for younger kids or for a device you want to dedicate specifically to shows or educational content. ... show more

Inexpensive and fun little mini tablet. Perfect for moms to keep in their purse. Its smaller than an ipad mini. Android based os. Uses google from the start up. You’ll need a kid google account. The reason for 3/5 stars: - there is a built in stand on the back that takes a little work to pull out. Once out, it sticks straight out about 6”. My son is 4 and I worry he will poke his eye or something dangerous with the stand. Its stiff to fold back in. You can leave it in and not pull it out. Its too hard for a kid to pull the stand out (which is good) - system is slow and laggy. - so many ads to play games. Its frustrating. - i cant figure out how to make the games single player. Seems two player. - cant delete built in apps but you can move them to a folder or rearrange the order they are shown. Overall, its a good value but has a few cons with the pro.
