The case seems like it will protect the tablet from almost any fall. Once child gets tired of it, the operating system can be flashed to regular Android and used as a reading tablet. Cons:There doesn't appear to be a screen protector though.

I grabbed this as a cheap tablet for controlling some wifi and bluetooth devices in the home. I don't have kids but I wanted a cheap Android tablet instead of looking for an older ipad which would cost significantly more. The case on this tablet is easily removable allowing for just a standard white tablet to be used. The tablet is a little slow but I wasn't expecting it to be blazing for the price point. This is listed as a YosaToo "K15" model with 8-core "A537" CPU. It has a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. The internal storage is 64GB with a SD card slot for more. As it comes, RAM is 6GB with 8GB extended virtual memory (which can be adjusted from none to 10GB with a reboot). Look at the directions for the pin codes needed to access the settings if needed - they have a standard default pin and a reset pin listed as well. It also comes with a plug adapter (USB-A) and a USB-A to USB-C cable. Resetting this was as simple as doing a reset in the settings and during the set-up, turning off "Child Mode". It will keep the cute ducky background but you can replace the wallpaper easily from any image you can save from the web and will be open to load from the Play Store. Overall, good deal for what I need it for...is it snappy? No, but I don't need it to be. Perfectly serviceable for app usage and device control.

I would give this ten stars if I could. Absolutely love this for my toddler. It can be used as a kids' or an adult's tablet. It has a setting just for kids that you can lock on so they can't access apps like YouTube and Google. Once you put in your code, it's like a regular tablet, which I loved cause it can grow with my child over the years. Easy to navigate and hooks up to wifi. I wish to add it to my phone plan because this is a good tablet. It's a great size and quality. It works fast and is very easy to use for all ages.

I ordered this for casual media consumption (Netflix, Apple TV+, Movies Anywhere, Emby, etc.) and it's specs seemed to be decent: it's running a newer version of Android (15) had at least 6GB of RAM (advertised strangely as 14 (6+8)), and 64GB of storage. Sure, it had a big foam cover, but I figured I could remove that (yes!). Per CPU-Z, here are the specs: CPU - A537 (Allwinner) which is a pretty basic CPU RAM - 6GB (reported as 5756MB; again, I'm not sure what 6+8 means, but it is no where near 14) Resolution - 1280 x 800 Storage - 64GB (reported as 52.11 GB total / 41 GB free) Unfortunately, this is barely usable for even the most basic tablet functions. Simply downloading apps from Google Play caused it to get extremely sluggish—when I was typing in my password, I had it all typed out and it took a second or two for the screen to catch up. Apple TV - I tried a few movies and series and they all stuttered so much that it was unwatchable Emby - I could only play DVD content; Blu-Ray stuttered too much to be viewable and 4K UHD could not even play Netflix - Worked, but the resolution was pretty terrible; any text was pixelated/fuzzy and there were motion artifacts Movies Anywhere - Similar to Netflix, but had some stutters. NOTE: during all testing I was about 10' from my Eero Pro WiFi 6 router. On the plus side, I also tried some apps and basic puzzle games worked well, so I'm wondering if the WiFi is the bottleneck. Other problems: - the sound was terrible; it is so tinny and quiet - battery life was also not great; in about an hour of testing the battery decreased 25% (a total of which was about 15 minutes of watching video) - the screen was generally fine, but there was some blooming when watching movies and with darker images All of that said, perhaps I received a bad unit, but this is a mediocre tablet and you should look elsewhere if you need a tablet for media consumption.

I just got done setting this up for my 5 year old nephew today. He loves it! The build quality is very sturdy and it was made with small children in mind. The back kickstand is well made and should last a long time. Setting up Android 15 is simple. I'd advise going into setting and allowing memory expansion under RAM to give it a little more performance. Once everything was setup, it performs very well. The preinstalled applications are a good diverse set of programs that are useful. It's not bogged down with bloatware at all. Overall this is a solid child's tablet.
