The seat/saddle was a little cheaper grade of plastic than I would have liked. (I assumed it would be a thicker grade of plastic.) Other than that., I am quite pleased.

I got these bar stools for my kitchen, and they make it look really stylish and cool. Plus, they're super comfy to sit on. The design of these stools is great. They match my kitchen's modern style and look really nice. They have comfortable shape of the seats that makes sitting on them cozy and comfy. Putting them together was easy, and they fit perfectly under my kitchen counter. They feel strong and well-made, and I can clean them easily. In short, these bar stools not only make my kitchen look good but also make it a comfortable place to sit. If you want to make your kitchen stylish and cozy, I recommend getting these stools.

Chairs very creaky.

I reviewed another variation of these chairs, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09KX2BQR1, and I got this one to create an alternating look in our kitchen, so my review mirrors my sentiments as I like this color just as much as I like the wood texture ones I got as well. Overall I really like these chairs, I was amazed at how easy they are where to assemble, and the size adjustability makes them great for counter-height stools for kids and adults. Overall they look good, are sturdy( my 2-year toddler is able to climb onto it without it falling over), and they have a classy look to them. They also have a nice contour in the seating area which adds to their comfort. Installation note, if you forget to remove the plastic cap on the hydraulic shaft BEFORE inserting the chair on top, it will prevent the hydraulic function from working. I spent more time than needed trying to fix this, learn from my mistake, and the easy fix: 1. remove the 4 screws that attach the chair to the upper half. 2. Insert a screwdriver from the top to pop the plastic protector out..fixed! (The first time I didn't realize you can access the jammed cap from the top, and spent way too much time fixing the problem I caused myself.) Note this is outlined in the instructions via visual instructions, it was totally my mistake but thought I would share in case you make the same mistake Thank you for reading, If you found this review helpful, I would appreciate it if you could click "helpful", thank you!

I have a regular, stationary barstool (an old wood one that is rather traditional) and a newer wood one that's a bit fancier but is also stationary. I opened the box, put these together in just a couple of minutes and was so happy with how they look that I took my old wood pair out to Goodwill. Someone else can find some use in them and I now have a pair that swivel, are height adjustable and have a foot "stool" so I can be comfortable while sitting on them. They look great! Wood and black metal makes a for a really sleek, modern look. Excellent pair of bar stools.

I like the wood grain but it can splinter if handled roughly. As long as you keep it shellacked and don’t scrape bare skin across it you’ll be fine. Tough frame. Extremely sturdy design with great hardware. Only took five minutes to assemble each stool. Easy to adjust. The thick wooden seat is wonderful, but can get uncomfortable after a few hours. Sturdy base and tough foot rests.
