Easy to put together: 10 parts, including hardware. Takes about 15 minutes to put both stools together, including disposing of the packaging. The instructions are easy to follow Seats are made of plastic, so they will get hot and sticky in hot weather The white gloves are made of a stretchy material, so they fit larger hands My counter top measures 45 1/2 inches, and my arms DO NOT rest at a 90 degrees angle when I sit on the stool, so the chairs are not appropriate to work on a laptop.     • False advertsing regarding the dimensions! Much smaller than led to believe.

The quality is very good, but one of the bases came chipped. The backrest is only 13 inches high, the depth of the seat is maybe 15 inches at most and the width of the seat at the back of it is only 11 inches! Not at all comfortable, and feel like I'm sliding out of it if I don't have my feet on the footrest. I'm 5'8" and women's size 6-8 and do not fit comfortably in the chair.
