Coffee is very smooth, isnt as overpowering as other dark roasts. Im not a coffee expert, but this is one of the best coffees Ive ever bought. It’s at the level if pricey cafes.

As someone who considers himself a horse manure connoisseur I was very pleased when I opened this bag of coffee, stuck my face into the bag, and inhaled deeply. The earthy, musty scent of horse manure is very forward and unmistakable. This was such an amazing surprise, I became almost giddy. I could not wait to grind and brew a cup in my Chemex coffee pot. And I have to say this coffee does not disappoint! It tastes exactly like it smells and exudes all of the flavor notes one expects when one ingests manure. The only downside I can find is that it does not have the flavor of a fresh manure but more that of a manure that has sat in a pile for several months to a year. But considering I have never had another coffee that tastes so much like manure I don't know that this can really be counted against it. Perhaps stale manure is the only manure flavor that can be imparted to coffee. Either way, I am a huge fan and this will be my go-to blend for life! If you are as much of a horse manure fan as I am then please do not hesitate and get yourself a bag of this wonderful coffee today. ... show more

I don't drink coffee but my parents do. So I didn't know what to get my mom for a gift and she drinks coffee like know tomorrow lol. So I got them so spoiled with this Grizzly Claw. So my dad said to my mom why does the coffee taste so nasty now she said they run out of the coffee I got for them. So my mom go to the store to buy a bag of grizzly claw they said it didn't taste that good compared to what I sent them. So now I send them every 2 weeks 2 bags of the 2.2 pounds. So I'm so glad that I found something they both like. I was there 1 day when she was grinding the beans and made a pot and it did smell really good. ... show more
