I was concerned that this would degrade the audio quality in my system however, I needed to lower the voltage being sent to my Sundown Audio amplifiers RCA connectors so I decided to try this. It was simple to install. It is pretty small so mounting it is easy. I like that the output is adjustable. Quality is still in the music and I don't have to worry about frying my amp. There is no power light on this unit as it is a passive so it can be difficult to tell if it is working. ... show more

I got this to supply audio signal AND remote turn on for a 1100 watt amp I have that pushes a single 12 inch Kicker ported box. It hooked into the rear deck speaker wires of my 2018 Nissan Maxima. I ran the ground to a bolt near by the amp amd the remote power lead to the amp and boom. The amp powered on and sounds great! I did check the voltage and my meter was reading 12.8 volts. I have zero engine noise from it either! All in all it is a great and easy way to install an amp. I would highly recommend. ... show more
