I am blown away with these speakers, pun intended lol. On a serious note, these Comp RT subwoofers hit hard! I was required to use shallow subs as I was installing under my rear seat. I own a pair of Skar VD-10 subs and was originally going to use those under my seat but I prefer Kicker and decided to spend the money on them. Glad I did because these subs are very very clean sounding and hit very hard. I wired them at 4ohm to break them in but they hit so hard I might not even go down to 2ohm. So if you are trying to decide on slim subwoofers, you have landed on the right one. You won’t be disappointed. ... show more

I have 3 of these in two vehicles. One of the few subs that would work with a box behind the rear seat of a crew cab Tacoma. a single sub in a crew cab fits my needs, won't win any competitions, but it's more than enough to bump around. I purchased this as an upgrade the factory subwoofer in my S650 Mustang with the B&O sound system. This specific subwoofer was the AI recommendation for a drop-in plug and play replacement of the factory subwoofer as a plug and play solution. What a difference! I love how efficient it is and also the fact that it’s optimized for small enclosures most car manufacturers come from factory. One thing to note: the first one I got was defective. The build quality is great but my unit never worked. I tested my wiring off of a different sub and there was nothing wrong with my wiring. When hooking up to the kicker, it simply never worked.
