I am blown away with these speakers, pun intended lol. On a serious note, these Comp RT subwoofers hit hard! I was required to use shallow subs as I was installing under my rear seat. I own a pair of Skar VD-10 subs and was originally going to use those under my seat but I prefer Kicker and decided to spend the money on them. Glad I did because these subs are very very clean sounding and hit very hard. I wired them at 4ohm to break them in but they hit so hard I might not even go down to 2ohm. I have 3 of these in two vehicles. One of the few subs that would work with a box behind the rear seat of a crew cab Tacoma. a single sub in a crew cab fits my needs, won't win any competitions, but it's more than enough to bump around. The build quality is great but my unit never worked. I tested my wiring off of a different sub and there was nothing wrong with my wiring. When hooking up to the kicker, it simply never worked.

Sound good, bang hard for pretty good price. Have two of these 10s and one blew about 6 months in and I do not play them hard. Rap every once in a while and mostly oldies or country. I’ve had a lot of speakers and know how much to push them. Amp is turned down well under power for what the rating of these subs can take. I’m giving them one more try, next one that blows I’m tearing it all out ... show more
