I have a small truck an extra cab tacoma and just wanted something I could use when on a job . This little sub is great for that I can stack all my tools on top of the box with no issues. Does it have crazy loud bass? no but you can feel it and it does sound pretty good . I have been over powering it by about 60 or so watts for nearly two years and it's still going just fine. ... show more

I coupled this with a 500.1 Kicker amp, and a 200.4 with all Kicker CS speakers in a '23 Bronco 4 door soft-top. I was told I'd never get good audio in that vehicle, but after these mods it is the BEST sounding audio I have ever had in a vehicle. I do audio engineering/recording as a hobby. Sure, I could have splurged and bought speakers and subs that were 3-5x as much, but it hits a point of diminishing returns. If you're trying to stay budget-friendly while wanting a substantial improvement to sound quality and sound-stage in your vehicle, the Kicker lineup is perfect. My Bronco came with a 6.5" sub that had no magnet and no amp due to the chip shortage issue. I put in a 6.75" Kicker comp sub, but it didn't have the lower frequencies that I missed hearing. This 10" sub fit the bill. I have the gain relatively low and it doesn't drown out the rest of the frequencies. The Kicker key amps have self-tuning capabilities, but I opted to tune it all myself and am happy with the results. If you want to rattle the panels off a busted-up Altima, this isn't the sub for you- go get larger subs and slap them in warped Home Depot OSB while chugging a white Monster and skipping your insurance payment. If you want full sound with some finesse, this is a great option. Don't get me wrong, it will definitely rattle your vehicle apart if you crank the gain and volume, but I appreciate that it sounds great even at LOW volume and LOW gain. Not gonna lie later down thenline i bought a pioneer 12 ts didnt like it so had to switch back to this witch meaning worth the monthbgood ok oreformace nd sound packaging came good nothing damaged will order again in the future got a small car this the way to go

Purchased to replace a 2 week old 12” 2ohm sub same brand and box. I’m so happy I went with the 10” 4ohm bass is way cleaner through all ranges . Granted it’s not as loud but quality over quantity any day!! Fits perfectly in trunk area of my 370z
