I was apprehensive about this unit. Combining an amp with a speaker, well. Very satisfied with this power subwoofer. For my car, it brought out the bass, low end, mids, and highs with some tweaking from the new Sony Android head unit, has a digital graphic band eq in it. Factory speakers, with this baby, they pound. I'm also a drummer, and I like to hear the bottom end. It's not going to blow your doors off, but as a supplement to a decent stock head unit, it'll improve your overall experience tremendously.     • Be sure you get a RCA adapter for the cables.
I believe it was a good value for the money. It has a nice sound. I just have a small old TJ Jeep so it was plenty for it. One thing is the installation by Kenwood head unit has rca cables so you are going to need a adapter it's not plug and Play. Went to my local shop that installs stereos and they were gracious enough to help me out on the adapter. Overall, I like the sound and the quality so far only installed for about a month. ... show more

I had an existing powered sub that was having problems. I ordered this and replaced it. Very easy replacement for me since the wiring was already done. This isn’t going to rattle your trunk or cab, but those looking to have some low end, this is a great value! Instructions are also very good.

I want to like this enclosure since it sounds great, WHEN it works… maybe I’m just not tuning it right, or what, but it cuts out if I put my car volume past 45 percent… it’s kind of annoying when I’m jamming on the highway on the way to work and then it just cuts out… I saw someone say their remote was faulty, and that disconnecting it fixed their issue, but it doesn’t seem to be the issue since it only cuts out past 45 percent volume, which leads me to believe the amp probably has some sort of protection mechanism that doesn’t let it operate past its threshold. A real shame since it does sound great when it works! I bought this as an upgrade from an 8inch Rockville under seat sub I bought earlier this year, and it is a huge difference! I have it wired for my 2017 Chevrolet Volt LT. I’m gonna try to re-tune in the hopes of improving the issue but otherwise, I’m gonna have to return it. I had it for about 1 month so far. The only other thing I liked about the enclosure is how easy it was to plug and play! I already had my speaker wire from my other sub. I had this thing running in less than 15 minutes! ... show more
