This kid's scooter is a great design. Rather than a single front wheel with a handlebar that twists to steer, this has a fixed handlebar with two front wheels that steer by tilting. My sister was unsure how well her 6 year old daughter would do with this steering system but she literally jumped right on the first time like she had already been playing with for weeks. Just super intuitive and easy to use. She really enjoyed the light up wheels as well. It has a pretty good range of heights for the handlebars and a weight capacity of 180lbs so it's usable for a wide range of kids and should last a while if you bought it for a child on the lower end of the suggested 6-12 age range. There is some assembly needed out of the box but it's not very complicated, just a few nuts and bolts. The needed tools are included though the wrench is just a little flimsy flat stamped metal wrench so I'd recommend using your own tools if you have your own wrench or socket set, but if not the included tools will still get the job done. The only thing I would change is the platform you stand on has a narrow strip of grip material that could be wider, very very minor. For the price, this a great value. Overall very happy with this scooter.

This scooter comes in a decorated box--so if you intedt this for a gift, it is all ready! This includes all hardware and tools necessary to assemble, however, I did not find this to be the easiest experience. The directions assume the child is doing the work because at one point they direct them to have an adult assist if necessary. It was very awkward to get the bolts and the washers in the right place to connect the footbed--that alone probably took me 20 minutes. It was also very difficult to tighten the locking bolts on the handle. Overall, it is decent quality and rides smoothly. There is a sticker that says "scooter" on the footbed that has a textured surface. It is somewhat bubbled and I'm not hopeful of the longevity of that particular addition. I'm a little dubious of how much traction a 1 1/2" of textured sticker paper will accomplish.

This was a gift for my 5-year-old granddaughter. This scooter comes with all the hardware and tools needed for completion. The instructions are easy to follow. I think the material is sufficiently heavy enough to withstand a few years of abuse (unless my grandsons use it). Steering is fairly easy secondary to the front tilt mechanism. The wheels feel to be of good quality and are supposed to emit light when moving. I really could care less about the lighting feature as they shouldn't be riding at night. The lights come on, but are not strong enough to be easily seen during the day. The front two-wheel design makes the scooter more stable and the rear step-on break keeps the feet on the board. Lastly, I noticed the price had dropped even further which increases the value. *NOTE* My reviews do not and will not contain any AI generated content.

So I tried setting these up and it was impossible. Just the first step of trying to connect the handle to the first part of the wheel the tools that came with it didn’t do the job. This needs some power tools to be able to set up in a very safe way. The connection between the handle and the first part of the wheel doesnt feel secure as it only clings on how tight the screw is. And not really having two holes that secure both poles together.

I’m sort of conflicted regarding this thing. On the pro side it is easy to assemble, the price is decent, I like that it has 3 wheels so it can stand up on its own, is easy for kids to keep upright, and the adjustable size allows it to cover a few different ages. On the con side I would say the quality of parts is pretty meh, the light up wheels are quite underwhelming, and the appearance is pretty plain overall and could use some stickers or something.

My kids enjoy playing with this scooter. It looks cheap and generic but is actually quite fun to ride. The frame is solid and even I can ride it at 230lbs. My 2,3 and 6 year old can also ride it easily. It has a unique steering assembly in the front that articulates as you lean as opposed to actually steering. The handlebar height is easily adjusted for different sized kids. The illuminated wheels make it fun for all ages. Assembly is easy and instructions are concise. Use caution unpacking as the hardware can be loose and you could lose critical items for assembly.

The media could not be loaded. The materials this scooters made of seems to be of high quality. However, we did have problems with it not turning well to the right. The look of the scooter is really nice. The wheels are nice and roll well. We put the scooter together just like the video showed. So I'm not sure if this particular scooter is flawed so it's not turning right well or if it's a flaw in the overall design. I would love to see this corrected because it's a really great scooter besides this.
