Excellent frames for photos or art work! The Mantello frames are sturdy, well packaged to avoid damage, and easy to use. The clarity of the glass is very good. I have bought these frames in several different sizes. The smaller ones I use to frame my watercolor Christmas cards and give as gifts, I’ve done this for several years now. Love the way these look. I used them to replace other, traditional frames that looked way too heavy for a small photo. The thin appearance of the black frame was perfect. After reading other reviews, I was very careful with the glass and did notice that re-inserting the glass into the front gave a little crunchy sound, signaling the sharp edges grating against the frame. It seems like the glass would simply fall out if tapped. But it's working fine for me so far and I love the look. ... show more

I bought these years ago and have moved with them multiple times. They were easy to set up, haven’t faded or cracked, and really let my art shine. I tried black frames and felt like they drew attention away from the art. I expected these to be wood or metal, I didn’t realize they were cheap plastic. They will do for now but I’ll be replacing them in the future. Also the price jumped by 30% after I purchased them, not sure why they are so much now but had they been what they are now I probably wouldn’t have bought them.
