UPDATE: I initially rated it at 3 stars, but then realized that the front bar was installed differently from the way it was installed on sorentos in a Kia dealership. There is a small slope on a bar, and once a rotated it to now point from up to down the whistle was gone. The only reason I rate it at 4 stars and not 5, is because they are not keyed. Pros: 1) It is good for the price. I purchased it for $270 on Amazon (cheaper than from a dealership). 2) It is easy (you don't need any additional tools) and fast (took me 10 minutes) to install even for the first time. 3) 165lbs weight limit is great. 4) They look great and I haven't noticed MPG decrease. Cons: 1) They are not keyed and therefore I would be concerned to leave my snowboards on the roof rack overnight. Bottom line: If you don't want to spend $500 on Thule or Yakima bars, and don't aren't planning on leaving your skiis on them overnight, it's a great option ... show more

Excelent product, attachment was really easy 10 or 15 min tops to put in the roof (have detail instructions) Original part from Kia (for warranty issues). Only part that miss is you cant lock it. but i dont take off never, so i cement glue to make difficult to take off. Excelente producto, se instala en 10 o 15 minutos en el techo (con instrucciones detalladas para colocarlo). Son partes Originales de Kia (para no preocuparse por la garantía). Lo único que le falta es que no tiene llave y no se pone candado. pero yo puse Pegamento ultra fuerte en las hendiduras y parte de la tapa para que no sea fácil quitarlas. ... show more

    • keeper screws and provided torque wrench are cheap and easily damaged
the rack is the original OEM one, the bars seem solid and it fits the vehicle rails perfectly. my complaint is with the design of the locking screws, and provided special circle encased hex torque wrench. one of the 4 screws was easily damaged during the installation where the metal from the head sheared the lock metal slightly. now the keeper lock wont depress when you try to tighten (or loosen) the screw. no idea how im going to get this thing off my roof ever again haha... ... show more

Great oem product for half the cost. Easy to install and even has a torque wrench to make sure you don't over tighten. Can't wait for our beach trip in a couple weeks since we will be putting a Yakima cargo carrier on top. Has plenty of clearance to open the subroof as well.
