Rulart is the optimal choice, much more convenient than most standard American locks. Firstly, connect the power-supply cords with white mark in two sides and check whether it is power on or not. Secondly，hide the connected power-supply cords in the back panel’s square hole. Install the front and back panel. Place the screws parallel. One screw runs parallel to the other one. And tighten two screws to a certain position. Make sure the door is able to unlock and the front panel is even with the back one. It is critical to screw up to avoid the panel shifting for the first installation. Read more Add users Tap the setting hole with a pushpin when the indicator flashing, the administrator’s fingerprint is wanted except the first time for confirmation. After that, new users have to take their fingerprints and repeat 6 times. When the light indicates BLUE for 2 seconds, the operation finishes. Voice instructing programming The user can program certain operation according to the voice instruction and user manual. Easy install Easy programming Finger print reader is unreliable and will sometimes open for a finger not registered. The words used for locked and unlocked are a bad translation from Chinese. Unlock" the door is always open, please open the door". Silly but whatever. Main problem is it stopped working within a month or so. Not good for exterior security. When the battery died it defaulted to unlocked. Everything else is expected at the low price. Total failure however is not worth a dime. ... show more

    • Works well, but could use some feature engineering.
Very conveinent to have the handle recognise the user, (fingerprint). Placement of the inside "mode" button can cause inadvertent change to "unlocked". Voice is too weak for this 81 year old but ok for young people. An LED on the inside showing red for unlocked would be a help. Would have liked bronze color option. Having the "re-charge" outlet on the outside is insane. It takes a couple of hours to recharge and all that while you have to have a charger and power cord outside. (Instructions on this are lacking!) ... show more

    • Love these electronic fingerprint locks!
I love these electronic fingerprint locks! They are very sturdy feeling and work very well meaning if someone else tries to use their fingerprint, it does not unlock the door. These work similarly to the electronic locks at most hotel rooms where the door handle doesn't do anything unless you activate the lock and then it engages and allows you to open the door very quietly. Some other reviews have commented on The voice talking from the lock. This is not a problem. It only talks when you press the mode button and it says the door is open, please open the door. It really should say the door is unlocked, you may open the door. If you press it again it says the door is closed, please close the door. It should say the door is now locked, please use your fingerprint to open the door. as for the charging port being on the outside of the door, that is the most logical place for it to be because if the battery should die on these, while locked out you would want to be able to plug it in and recharge it so you could use your fingerprint to open the door. They also include 2 mechanical keys that can be used in the event the lock is malfunctioning. I installed several of these inside my home to provide restricted access to my home office, my master bedroom door and the locked door between my garage and my home. I am very happy with the performance of all of these locks. They were very simple to install, did not even need to use the instructions. As far as programming, the first fingerprint and the second fingerprint saved are considered administrator fingerprints and at least one administrator fingerprint is required for further programming and adding or deleting fingerprints I used each of my thumbs as administrator fingerprints on my door locks and then added additional users to the doors that I wanted them to have access to. so far everything works exactly as I wanted it to and I couldn't be happier with these locks! ... show more

    • Honest review easy to install and sturdy
Product easy to install able to add the fingerprints as directed by instructions, however the only finger print it recognizes is the admin. Any other finger print we've put in the system won't unlock the door and whenever I try to register a print again in it says that then finger print has already been put in the system. I sent email to the manufacturer no response I checked my spam folder and no response so I have to leave my lock unlocked and use a deadbolt to get in and out the home. ... show more

    • Not sure it does everything it’s advertised to do!
Product is study and as easily installed as a regular door knob. Please note that you will eventually need a power bank to charge this. The brushed nickel color is darker than most so it may not match if you’re trying to match other knobs, however it looks and feels nice. I have not found any instruction for voice activation as described by seller, nor any instructions for the “private mode” for these reasons I give it only 4 stars. ... show more

    • Love the concept
I had some trouble when I first got this. It kept not reading my fingerprint. Instructions are not helpful but there is a help email that gets answered quickly and was able to resolve my problems. With time it seems to read my fingerprint better if that’s possible. I have no idea how to add another fingerprint which sucks but Its just for me so not a problem so far. The door knob itself is nicely made and not cheep. But, the button that locks and unlocks the door is in a bad place, it is way too easy to lock the door by accidentally hitting the button when you open the door. When having company, they inevitable lock themselves out at least once. The charger is also in an awkward spot, I have to have the door open to plug it in to charge it. Not good if it’s cold or you don’t want to let the cat out. Overall, I love the concept and the design and feel of the door lock. Once I figured it out it has been reliable and works consistently. The instructions need improvement and a slight design change in the on off button and charging location would make this lock superb ... show more

    • Perfect Functionality
These were super easy, I bought two of them and had them both installed within 10 minutes. The functionality is seamless and it's super simple...I really like the "Always Open" feature by just pushing the button on the inside, that way, if I want to allow my kids in and out of the rooms I put these on, I can do that, if not, I just push the button again and only my fingerprint can open it! ... show more
