Now we find it quickly with a key finder securely stuck on the remote (with the strong double-sided tape included). The beep is nicely louder than an AirTag, which is so helpful when the remote is buried deeply in furniture. And the little LED light is a bonus. The key finder seems to have a good battery life, as it’s been used a lot and still works great. The size fits perfectly on the remote control, the colors are distinctive, and it’s so easy to use. This is a wonderful product, efficient and very effective for all the people in the world who spend half their time looking for misplaced items. It’s a fraction of the price of Air Tags and has worked every time I’ve needed it, too often! The tags can be placed on keys, phones, remotes or anything easily misplaced or forgotten. It has eliminated so much stress looking for lost objects. I have never tried it on a dog collar, not sure the range would work but it’s been great to quickly locate an object.     • For the keys, a great job. Not as thin as I'd like to track other items.

The intent was to be able to locate my "Ring o' Keys" which have a mind of their own or are assisted in getting lost by a ghost. Works beautifully. The fob is lightweight and so far, the battery creates a loud enough sound to be easily located. The sound is also distinct enough not to be confused with other notification alerts or devices, but it will be the same sound for all the fobs; only color-coding sets them apart. I would like for the fob to be a little thinner to track other items like a wallet, but using a thin wire retaining clip, and looping it on the fold of the wallet allowed it to be used as a tracker. It hangs out like a rabbits foot, but I keep my wallet in my front pocket so it cannot be pulled out without my knowledge. You do have to keep track of the remote, but that is easily done if you are consistent in putting it back on it's stand. The stand is lightweight and not cat-proof in their "gravity monitoring activities." (Yes, that is why cat's push any object off a table.) ... show more

Purchased this item to attach to the TV remote that seems to always be in a place that I cannot find! It has little rings you can attach each alarm to or you can attach with a provided adhesive to the item. it is very basic but does the job. More importantly, it stops from endless frustrating searches. i also have it attacjed to my keychain which I do not lost as often as the remote. ... show more

You can hear the beep if the item that you are looking for is in the open. But if it is in a closed area like a drawer, you have to open it to hear it. works great other wise.
