Received the dehumidifier, and I like the small size. It's truly for a room, small Apt, bathroom, but that's what I was looking for just something for the hot summer months when it gets humid, and I can use in the backroom, large closet area. I must say, it's super quiet!!! You can easily use it in a bedroom. Especially if your sensitive to noise. When I unpacked the unit I noticed a small crack on the bottom of the water tank. I'm guessing it must have happened during transport. Looked like something pushed into it? Didn't leak after filling it up with water, but I'm afraid once it keeps working and filling up, the water pressure might eventually crack it even further since I can feel it from the inside as well. I contacted Kesnos right away, since I just wanted the water tank exchanged, and didn't want to deal with the hassle of having the whole unit returned/exchanged. They were super quick with their response, and super nice and forthcoming! Asked me for pictures, and more detailed info about the unit, really just basic info they needed to have the tank replaced. They told me they would send me a replacement tank. They were very apologetic for the inconvenience. The one reason I chose Kesnos was not just for the unit description, and reviews, and small compact size, but also for the good customer reviews on the company itself. I did use the unit in the bathroom, and it made a difference, it didn't get all steamy and stuffy. I'm looking forward to receiving the replacement tank, and will update once it's getting used when the warm, humid weather hits. Also, the wheels are already attached, and super easy to wheal around. It also has a handle on top to help with carrying it if needed. Not heavy. Easy to use control panel. Whisper quiet. Update: I received the replacement water tank from Kesnos, delivery was prompt as promised. I got to use the dehumidifier since the weather turned hot and humid early this year, it works like a charm. Sucks all the water/humidity out of the air. I'm impressed. Keeps the area/air dry. Red light comes up on the display that shows when the tank is full. I like the small water tank, unit works for hours till the tank fills up, and once full it's not heavy to take out and empty. I wish I would have ordered it years ago!

I purchased this unit because after a week of drenching rain I had a serious issue with moisture and mildew in my bedroom and needed a solution. This was an issue Damp Rid wasn't going to be able to handle in a million years. I poured through listings looking for a highly rated unit with a large number of reviews and came upon this one. I'll tell you, I've had this in my bedroom for 3 days and it has sucked gallons of water out of the air. The nasty damp mildewy smell was gone in 24 hrs. I love that this is an Energy Star certified unit because I will have to run it regularly. It's a great non-obtrusive size, simple to use and whisper quiet. I love almost everything about it. I just wish the water tank had a larger capacity, it fills up in about 3 hrs on DRY mode. I'm seriously considering buying another for the main living area and one for the garage/laundry. Definitely worth the money.

We bought the Kesnos 4500 Sq. Ft Dehumidifier in November of 2024 and found the unit to be very effective in controlling the humidity in our basement. It is quiet and works fast in dropping the humidity during the spring and summer months. One drawback on the 4500sq ft unit is the size of the water tank; it's very small but this wasn't important to us as we use the self draining feature so we never have to empty the tank. We liked the overall quality so much, we have purchased 2 other Kesnos brand units to use in other areas of our house. This particular unit ran daily from late March through mid-October each season without fail until a few weeks ago when it stopped drawing moisture out of the air. Kesnos customer service has been excellent in processing the warranty replacement since this unit was less than 2 years old and still within their 2 year warranty. Overall we are very happy with the products and especially the customer service - it's rare to find good service and/or a company that honors their product warranty - Kesnos does both.

This is an excellent dehumidifier. It pulls out a lot of moisture and runs quietly and efficiently. We had a small concern with the drain hose, which developed two small pinhole leaks and got some water on the floor, which we were able to clean up rather quickly. In correspondence to Kesnos they were quick to respond and are going to supply us with a replacement drain hose, The only negative is the facility to hook this unit up directly to a garden hose. The thread size on the unit does not match the American garden hose thread size, so we will be trying to compensate by attching the supplied drain hose and clamping it to a hose with a hose clamp. Otherwise, this unit really does a great job of ramoving moisture.

Let me begin by saying I’m not being compensated or anything for this review. I live in Florida in an apartment with very poor air circulation and windows that don’t fully seal out the outside humidity so it’s very musty in here. Usually over 55% humidity and now in the summer over 65%. In my shower, I used to spend hours cleaning all the mold, only for it to come right back in 2 days - making me sneeze like crazy while taking a shower with my eyes burning. SO FRUSTRATING. My hair would even get frizzy INSIDE THE HOUSE. That’s when I decided it was time to invest in a dehumidifier and I’ve had it for around 9 months now. I just bought two other small dehumidifiers and they are so weak compared to this. Before today, I thought this one was just collecting so much water because it is so humid in here. Well, yes, it is, but it is mostly that this dehumidifier is also just very very effective. I set the timer for 2 hours after we shower, (super tiny room with just shower and toilet; ~25 sq ft) and it dries up my bathroom completely and the bucket will be 3/4ths full. I also run it in the living room/kitchen area as often as my lazy butt is willing to haul it there from the bathroom, and when I do, I have to empty out the tank 3x a day or more - and that’s only waking hours (not including night). Usually it’s already full again when nighttime comes so it’s pretty much always off at night. Whenever it’s been off all day, it is SUCH a noticeable difference in the air. The air feels thicker and carpet stickier. I didn’t appreciate how effective this dehumidifier is until I got the smaller ones today..wow! I read reviews before buying slightly smaller ones of another brand on Amazon, and people were impressed by having ~2 table spoons of water collected in 24 hours, I found it laughable compared to mine. But I considered that maybe their place just isn’t as humid as mine, so I bought them anyway. But nope, they turned out to just be super weak!! I can’t even remember the last time I had to get on my knees inhaling chemicals trying to eradicate the nasty mold in the shower. That’s the ultimate evidence that this is working (plus the buckets and buckets of water poured out.) The dryer tends to ruin my delicate (&cheap) clothes, so I’ve always liked to hang dry it. I didn’t even know you could use this for that until I received this and read it in the manual. I put my little rack inside the shower and put the dehumidifier in there with them and they’re bone dry in under 2 hours - and that’s for a full load of laundry. This is honestly such a great investment. And this one is so reasonably priced compared to the others on Amazon of the same capacity. I’m pretty proud of myself for choosing this one. As for noise level, the low modes are pretty quiet. But my belief is that if it ain’t fanning, it ain’t working! So I only use it on high. I have cats and it also is pretty dusty in here from such poor air circulation, so dust has gotten into the spinning fan inside and I think that’s made it get a little louder lately. It’s not annoying, just blends into the background. But just during the day it’s nbd. It’s just inevitable for a large fan inside. The machine itself doesn’t make any noise, but you hear some air blowing/the fan spinning. Also, the air it blows out does make the room a bit warmer in small spaces, but again, I think that’s an inevitable but fair trade-off for a decent capacity dehumidifier. I hope somebody finds this helpful!

I live in the Deep South where the humidity is extremely high most of the time. This little dehumidifier is amazing. My cottage is 524 sq ft and it is keeping the humidity level at a healthy 52%. I empty the reservoir three times a day. This is a powerful humidifier and it is also very quiet. I recommend this product!

I live in the PNW where the humidity can get out of hand. After my shoes got moldy this winter, I decided it was time to get a dehumidifier. When this first arrived, my hygrometer showed 77% humidity. I've only had this for a week and was able to get it down to 45%. AMAZING!! The auto shut-off feature is great and will turn off once the desired humidity level is reached or the water bin is full. The water bin fills up quickly in my space since the bin is on the smaller side, but it's easy to empty and put back in. It's not loud at all, which I appreciate. The only thing I find distracting about the sound is when water releases into the bin, as it sounds like someone is pouring a cup of water onto the floor (this was alarming the first few times I heard it). Lastly, the fact it's on wheels is just a nice bonus, as it makes it extra easy to move around. Great design y'all!

First, the star review is not due to this being a 'bad' product. This little thing works its tail off! It runs nearly 24/7 draining nearly constantly into the sink. So this dehumidifier works! There is no question about that. The low star rating is solely due to the reported 2,500sqft area promise. Maybe a sealed, one time 2500sqft area. But not a real living space. I live in a ~1000 one floor apartment. Running on maximum 'Turbo' mode, this thing never shuts off. There are no drafts, no cracks in a door, new storm windows. It's just a false advertising issue. The only other 'negative' is the refrigerant in this device. It's not like a window AC or car AC. The refrigerant in this is Propane! Once you get the device, there are warnings all over it. But that would be good to know ahead of time. Weird quirks aside, it does work!
