Wow -- I was so impressed when I took it out of the packaging because it really did look heavy duty, and it was physically heavy as well, so very good quality. It has been in use in my horse paddock (covering a composting pile) for almost a year and still shows very little sign of wear. I fastened it down with tent pegs -- it is waterproof, so I do have to peel it back to add water for the composting. Most impressively, my horses have actually walked over it and it has not ripped or shown any signs of damage. It’s heavy and think it might hold up better than those thinner, lighter, regular traps. Those cheaper tarps the sun destroys them and they riot, tear to quickly. We will see how well this tarp holds up as time goes on.

Really good thickness and quality tarp. I took off a star because a big wind tore out a grommet when I'd strapped it onto a John Deer cart. Not sure if that was my fault or the wind's, because it seems to be very sturdy.

This tarp is very tuff and holds up to hurricane type winds. We have it up all the time as a cover in our pool area. Often windy in Florida during rainy season. No rips and grommets are holding tight. We tried others and they ripped with sun damage. Not this one.
